BBZ lebensart e.V.

BBZ lebensart e.V. is Halle's queer centre — the Begegnungs- und Beratungszentrum on Beesener Strasse that has anchored the city's LGBTQ+ community since 1990. It runs free counselling, a youth group, trans and inter meet-ups, a small library and a queer refugee project, and it is one of the organisers behind Halle's CSD. The monthly Queer Club held here is one of the easiest ways for visitors to meet locals; staff and volunteers are a reliable first stop for up-to-date tips on what is happening in the city's small but warm scene.
