Leonardo Hotel Hamburg Airport

Leonardo Hotel Hamburg Airport is a no‑frills, 4‑star chain spot for travelers needing a quick layover near Fuhlsbüttel. Set on Langenhorner Chaussee in Langenhorn, the hotel sits in Hamburg’s north, a short walk from the runway and a convenient drop‑off for taxis. The address puts you out of the city buzz but still within easy reach of the U‑Bahn. Inside, you’ll find a restaurant and a modest bar/lounge, plus free Wi‑Fi in the lobby and meeting rooms. The setup feels built for airport and business traffic rather than leisure wanderers. The property is gay‑friendly without being marketed as a gay hotel, so you won’t run into themed décor. It works well for early departures or late arrivals, but a night out in St. Georg—Hamburg’s gay scene hub around Lange Reihe—takes about 30‑40 minutes by U‑Bahn. Google lists more than 1,700 reviews, averaging 4.2 stars.
