A very nice establishment, clean and well-equipped. I went there Friday night for the late-night party and Sunday morning after Time Warp. I was expecting a more "underground" atmosphere, like in saunas in Brussels, Barcelona, or France when there's a gay-friendly techno event like this, but it was a completely different vibe. I had a great time. I'd gladly go back.

The population in Germany is aging, and the age gap is widening. You get followed and groped by people over 70. If an escort tries to solicit, they get kicked out. There were three of us, and it's unfortunately nothing like Cologne. I don't know how it could be improved. Perhaps free entry for those under 23. No pool and no sauna infusions during the week. The steam room smells musty. The only good thing was the general cleanliness. They charge extra for wearing flip-flops because it's mandatory. You can't see online whether it's busy or not. So you might go and find 3-4 people 25 years older than you. The waitress was quite nice. It was a lovely woman. The drink prices are okay. Maybe we were just unlucky that month.

I was probably there at the wrong time – Sunday, 10 a.m. Apart from two guests, everyone present was either asleep in the cabins (at least 50% of them were locked, and you could hear snoring) or on the loungers in the relaxation area. Unfortunately, a total disappointment for me! It felt more like a hotel than a sauna – although the staff were very friendly and accommodating!

I'm Spanish. I organized a trip to western Germany from the 9th to the beginning of December. I was in Bonn, Frankfurt, Heidelberg, Baden-Baden, and also Mannheim. In Mannheim, I struggled to decide whether or not to go to this sauna, since despite being in the EU, I'm still a foreigner. I love Germany, its culture, its people, and its music, and in the end, I was disappointed that I decided to go in. I was traveling alone, I don't have any friends in Germany, and obviously, I went in alone; I didn't drink any alcohol. I diligently paid for the service offered, first I relaxed on the lounge chairs, and then I went into the sauna room. I stayed for 5 minutes, got out to dry off, and after drying off, I went into a dark room where someone called my attention, though I didn't know why. I didn't quite understand what he told me in German about going upstairs, but I obeyed. I went upstairs, and when I got to the top, I did understand the leader telling me, "You must go." Without knowing why I was being expelled, I tidied myself up, got dressed, gathered my belongings, and returned my towel and flip-flops to the caretaker. Perhaps out of ignorance, I unwittingly broke a rule without knowing the code of conduct or dress code... (later I looked up saunas in Germany online, and most require complete nudity (without underwear). Perhaps it was this custom or rule that I violated. In any case, if I broke any rule, it was unintentionally, without malice, and without ill intent. I apologize. I felt discriminated against; my first thought was discrimination for not being German, but perhaps it was discrimination for "not being part of the group," in the sense that I realized there was a sense of camaraderie, that they had known each other for months or even years. What is clear is that in Spain, I have never been kicked out or expelled from the saunas I have been to, whether for being new or a novice, for wearing underwear, or for being completely naked.

The sauna is very clean and the clientele is very mixed, young and old. The ambiance and atmosphere are perfect. I'd gladly return and give it 5 stars.
