Designhotel Laurichhof Pirna

This was just great. I was weary while booking this due to the price. But the hotel and its staff delivered and then some. The staff is incredibly friendly. The suite we had was spacious and gorgeous. The breakfast was delicious and they will make your coffee and any egg dish (on the menu) should you whish it. We also paid extra for two hours of the sauna which they will book just for you (well worth it). I cannot recommend this hotel enough, truly a masterclass in how a hotel should be run.

This is possibly the best designed hotel in which I've ever slept. We stayed in the white room - WhiteOut. It was Hobson's choice as almost all of the rooms were already booked for the weekend which we decided on at the last minute. We thought it might be a little bland. Far from it. The dazzling white room was stunning. The rest of the hotel was as good as the room. The layout, around a central terrace/courtyard, reminded me of some Mediterranean resorts and the design elements that made the room so visually attractive were everywhere, inside and out. We ate in the restaurant. Not a huge choice but the food was very well cooked and presented. The staff - reception, breakfast, restaurant, bar, even the housekeeper, with the room-themed hair colour - were as amazing as the hotel. Very welcoming, from the minute we walked in. We'll be back 😊

Such a cool and comforting place to stay. The bed is very comfortable and the staff are very friendly. Very recommended!

This hotel deserves a 5 star reviews simply for it's wonderful design. It is really unique and should really be looking over a beach in Spain rather than in Pirna (nothing against Pirna which we liked a lot). Sure there a few aspects where design and practicality diverge but overall we loved the place. Maybe the main constructive criticism would be that the restaurant (food/service) could be better; to match the quality and attention to detail of the accommodation.
