Very welcoming and clean... idyllic, quiet location.
Very friendly hosts. The massage and spa offered fantastic options. We were very impressed with the location and the hotel grounds themselves. The room didn't quite live up to the advertised standard. There were clear signs of water damage on the wall adjoining the bathroom, the bathroom smelled musty, and unfortunately, there was some mold. The couch was quite worn, and the overall cleanliness could be improved. These issues unfortunately detracted from the otherwise pleasant atmosphere.
Beautiful rooms and a fantastic location. But the peacock in the cage right outside the rooms crows every 30 minutes, all night long. Presumably, the hotel's bright exterior lighting, which also shone annoyingly through the front window (which couldn't be completely darkened), prevented the poor animal from getting any rest.
