Our stay in Mykonos, and more specifically at the Panoptis villas, was absolutely fabulous, far exceeding all our expectations. The location is simply exceptional: spectacular views of both beaches, an enchanting setting, a soothing atmosphere, and remarkable comfort that invites complete relaxation. Everything has been designed to offer an exclusive and unforgettable experience. Chef Alexandros Boukouvalas' cuisine enhanced our stay with its finesse, creativity, and exquisite flavors. His private dinner at the villa was a particularly memorable moment, as was the cuisine offered at Utopia, which was flavorful, refined, and full of delightful culinary discoveries. Finally, a huge congratulations to the entire Panoptis team for the impeccable quality of their welcome and service. An exceptional address that we will long remember and that we recommend without the slightest hesitation.

A truly outstanding Hotel. We generally stay at Waldorf Astoria or the Hilton curio hotels and this was our first time at Hilton’s SLH brand. The guest service is 2nd to none as are the rooms. We generally don’t make a second visits to most destinations, but I can absolutely see making an exception here. If you’re looking at other hotels, don’t think twice book here.

I went there in June and I'm kind of torn between giving it 3 or 4 stars. I'd give it 3.5 if I were able to. Maybe my overall ranking is harsh, but when I stay at luxury resorts, my expectations are higher. Most of the people who worked there were great and provided outstanding service. It is very peaceful where they're located. But there were a couple of negatives that really frustrated me. First, I had a room with an outdoor hot tub. I would have preferred a room with a pool but there wasn't availability so no issue there. But with the hot tub, it doesn't get really hot like how you would think one should. We were told that when it's cooler outside, it won't fully heat up. Also, it took hours for it to reach max temperature, even with it covered. It was just frustrating at night when we wanted to unwind with a glass of wine in the hot tub and couldn't because the water was lukewarm for most of the time. For a luxury resort, I wouldn't expect an inconvenience like that. My second issue was about the beach we had access to. When we called concierge to let them know we were ready to be taken down to the beach (you need to take a shuttle which is free), we were told that the beach was at capacity. Their partner hotels also share the beach so it's first come, first serve. It was disappointing but we were told two hours later that spots opened up and we needed to hurry as they wouldn't hold our places for long. So we rushed and come to find out when we arrive that there are open chairs everywhere! Like rows of empty chairs (see the attached photos). And other people were let in very shortly after us. So did a bunch of people leave all at once? Doubtful. If you aren't going to service that many people, don't put out so many chairs and let people have some space. That experience put me off a bit. Other things to keep in mind. Not necessarily a negative though: the resort is secluded, which id great but far from anything else. Cabs and ubers run $50 minimum each way. Don't rent a car. I didn't and was very happy with my decision. Don't do it to yourself. So if I were living in Europe, would I go back? Yeah, probably at some point. Living in America? Ehhh I wouldn't make the trip just for the resort. Mykonos itself was pretty cool. But you can still get amazing value in the Caribbean and you're not having to travel longer distances.
