Hotel Pensione Romeo

I know that extreme opinions don't count, but a higher rating would be a slap in the face to a place that has more to offer. I was there with a huge bicycle suitcase, hence my choice for one night – it's close to the station where I get off in Bari. My remaining journey was by bike, and this hotel stores luggage for a large storage company. I recommend giving it a wide berth.

They have a 24-hour reception, which is rare in Bari. I had booked another place, but due to a bus delay, the doors of my room not opening, and them not answering the phone, I found myself at this Hotel Pension Romeo at 11 pm, walking down the street with my bags, tired and frustrated. I stayed for 3 days and had no problems.

HORROR! I don't know what it's like in season, but if you go in the winter months (our example) there is no heat source (radiator, air conditioning or heater. Either outside or in the "room", it's the same. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

STAY AWAY! I'll leave everything else aside to say that on December 31, 2025, with outside temperatures around 2 degrees Celsius and inside temperatures around 10-12 degrees Celsius, there are accommodations without heating!!!!!! When I asked for an explanation, they gave me an electric heater, full of dust and encrustations. The room was 5 meters high, perhaps 20 square meters. The pains of hell at night...

I warn you against this place! Bedbugs in the room, it was impossible to move to another one, and the receptionist is very rude and yells at guests instead of trying to solve the problem! Avoid at all costs!

A double room for €75, incredibly squalid, the bathroom horrendous, look at the photos and judge for yourself, never again

Disgraceful, they gave us this disgusting room. They took our money and we left!

Terrible! Nothing more to say, better to sleep in your car! The only positive is that it's a 3-minute walk from Bari Centrale train station.

I just kept my luggage there.
