Very kind staff, everything is clean, including the bathrooms, the changing rooms, hot shower, hot hydromassage, everything works, I come here often, I like it a lot, I feel at home every time I go there 💘💘💘💘🌈❤️

Nice sauna, friendly and helpful staff. The only downside (not the sauna, the owner, or the staff) is some disturbing elements. A skinny boy tries to peer into the cabins, even crouching to look under the door. These people have no understanding of politeness or how to approach people, using teasing jokes to show off. On the other hand, there are also wonderful, polite, and kind people.

Very nice little sauna, they take cash only. It's clean, well setup on two floors with darkroom, GH, several cabins, small steam room and dry sauna. We went on sunday outside the main season and it was quite busy with many locals mixed ages.

A truly unique sauna. The owner is helpful, kind, and very friendly. The sauna is more than clean, from the hot tub to the changing rooms. The masseur, Kris, is top-notch, and the people who frequent this place have nothing to complain about. I return every time I'm in Catania, and it's my go-to place for everything.

Great sauna. Not big and crowded on sunday afternoon. But even if you don't go for sex, it's perfect for a spa afternoon. Enjoy the different sauna's, the jacuzzi. You can even get a massage if you like. You'll get a towel and flip-flops. I've read in another review you have to hand in your identity card if you don't have a certain membershipcard. Probably as a guarantee. I don't think it's legally allowed but so far i didn't have any trouble getting it back.

Small, stylish, beautiful sauna. Well-furnished, modern, good lighting, music is good and not too loud. Two floors: Downstairs there's the entrance, changing rooms, showers, whirlpool, sauna, steam room, and bar; upstairs there are cabins, a masseur, a smoking room (where porn is shown on a good screen), and a darkroom. It's practically pitch black. Something to be aware of, but it's an interesting experience. The reception is friendly (only Sicilian/Italian spoken). On a weekday afternoon in September, it was quite busy, with people ranging from their early 30s to their early 70s. Really good atmosphere; apparently, many know each other, but they're still friendly. It doesn't get 5 stars only because there are good and even larger saunas elsewhere in the world. If there were a "Small Saunas" category, it would get 5 stars from me! It's highly recommended! Thank you for what you do! Prices: In Italy, there's something like an (annual) club card that's valid for all saunas. If you have it, you get a discount on admission. If you don't have one, admission currently costs 15 euros on weekdays.

Everything was great. The staff was very friendly. The only downside is that you can't pay by card. Cash only.

A terrible experience. Upon arrival, they asked for my ID and, instead of checking it and returning it as required by law, they tried to keep it until I left, which is completely illegal. Furthermore, the manager treated me very rudely, raising his voice and being utterly unfriendly. I found the situation absurd and disrespectful. A place that makes you feel uncomfortable from the very first minute and shows no respect for either the rules or the customer doesn't deserve your trust. I don't plan to return, nor will I recommend it.

Catania, aug 4 2025 I visited Le Terme di Achille for the first time on a weekday around 5 PM and was immediately impressed. The warm welcome at the door, the cozy ambiance, and the impeccable cleanliness in every corner truly stood out. Although the place isn't huge, it's very well maintained and has everything you need—great amenities, good music, and a nice video selection. The crowd was a friendly mix, respectful and not pushy at all, which made the atmosphere very comfortable. As a tourist, I had to leave my passport at the reception, which serves more as a guarantee to return items like towels, slippers, and the locker key. I paid €20 for the visit—definitely worth it for the overall experience. There was no deposit fee, just the passport hold for security. I’m in Catania for a few more days, and I’ll definitely be going back. Highly recommended! Ciao, Lloyd - all the way from Suriname, South America.
