On my first visit to Palermo, I couldn't miss a stop at the city's quintessential gay bar. Its location isn't particularly convenient; to get there from the Teatro Massimo square, I had to walk down a completely dark street. The atmosphere was initially pleasant, however, until I witnessed an embarrassing scene involving one of the waiters, who, in a threatening manner, insulted a customer who had just sat down at a table, asking him to get up and stating that he wasn't welcome there. I won't go into details, as I'm not aware, but I expect more inclusion from an LGBT+ bar. To a "newbie," this episode demonstrated a slight lack of professionalism. Beyond that, the cocktails were quite good, and the prices were in line with the local average. I didn't particularly appreciate the fact that they closed at 2 a.m. on a Friday night, with so many people still sitting at their tables.

Terrible place, lousy service, very rude staff. The owner is even ruder than the staff. I'm giving it 1 star because it's the lowest I can give.
