Colosseum RistoBar

Today, my spouse and I happened to come across this place and decided to walk in. We ordered two coffees and two sandwiches, which came to a total of 21 euros. The products were absolutely not worth this price. The chicken in my spouse’s sandwich was very dry, the bread was stale, and it wasn't even heated properly. As for the Caprese sandwich I ordered, it contained only a single slice of tomato and a piece of cheese less than half its size. More than half of both sandwiches was completely empty. When we asked the waiter if this was normal, we were told that it was. I couldn't even eat my sandwich. The only positive part of the entire experience was that they refunded the money for the sandwich I couldn't eat."

The experience was terrible. From the staff, who had no patience while I was deciding what to order, to the old food they served — everything was disappointing. We ordered two piadinas, and they clearly seemed to be from the day before and reheated. The mozzarella was sour, and the basil was wilted. We also ordered a bottle of water, but they brought it without any glasses. When we went to explain our dissatisfaction, we received the following response: “Everything is fresh. It only seems old to you; that’s how it’s supposed to look.” As soon as they realized we were tourists, they treated us like we didn’t know anything. They have a completely wrong attitude toward tourists. I definitely do not recommend this place!!!!

Terrible service.

Last night I had dinner at this bar/restaurant. They're open late. I sat outside with a view of the Colosseum. I ordered tagliatelle with white scottona ragù. The only problem was that the entire plate was covered in parmesan cheese, which wasn't mentioned on the menu. So, in their own way, they added grated parmesan. It's a shame, because it ruined what looked like a delicious dish. It's a shame, because this is a serious mistake that shouldn't be made in Italy! Otherwise, the staff was very friendly, and I pointed this out when paying.

Worst bar ever, the staff is horrible and the service is terrible too.

A cafe located in a nice area, near the Colosseum, as its name suggests 😉, the cookies were very tasty, as was the coffee! ☕
