Article 5 Paragraph 1 of the Basic Law (GG) Short version: Article 5 Paragraph 1 GG – Freedom of Expression It states, among other things, that everyone has the right to freely express and disseminate their opinion. Review of nhow Rotterdam – New Year's Eve 2025/2026 For almost €800 (2 people / 2 nights), we expected significantly more. Unfortunately, our expectations were not met in several respects. Room: The room seemed dated overall. The bathroom design was particularly bothersome: The shower cubicle with its large glass walls is extremely impractical. While slightly opaque towards the sleeping area, everything was still visible – both while showering and at the sink. The toilet area, although made of frosted glass, had no door that could be properly closed. This design is completely inappropriate and unpleasant for a double room. In addition, there was hardly any storage space. A large, solid column directly in front of the window blocked much of the natural light. The integrated mirror was so dark that it was almost impossible to see oneself. If there is a utility shaft there, it may be necessary – however, a built-in wardrobe or additional storage space would have been much more practical, both visually and functionally. Hotel & Organization on New Year's Eve: In our opinion, the planning for New Year's Eve 2025/2026 was very poorly organized. A party took place on the 7th floor starting at 10 p.m., which led to massive problems with the elevators. Guests staying on higher floors (from floor 21 upwards) regularly had to wait 20–30 minutes – and not just on New Year's Eve, but at other times as well. Terrace: The terrace is far too small for the number of guests. Access was through a single narrow door, which made getting in and out almost impossible. Getting a seat for midnight was unrealistic – even if you had arrived at 10 p.m. By 11:55 p.m., it was definitely out of the question. Drinks & Prices: For hotel guests who had already paid a high room rate, the drink prices at the bar were exorbitantly high. We found this inappropriate and rude. Particularly disappointing: there was no sparkling wine or champagne in the bar at midnight – which should be a given on New Year's Eve. Conclusion: Very disappointing. We would gladly visit Rotterdam again anytime, but we definitely cannot recommend the nhow Rotterdam. The overall package simply isn't worth the price. Our impression: a rip-off instead of an experience. Update from June 13, 2026: I received a voucher in response to my Booking.com review. We were on the floor with a fantastic view, but we wanted a bathroom with privacy! The furniture was dated [bathroom vanity, or perhaps it was supposed to have a vintage look?]. The TV was extremely dark, just like the first time. This time, the pillar wasn't in the middle of the room, which made it brighter. Unfortunately, on June 14th, there was a widespread power outage in the area from about 8:00 to 9:00 AM. It was organized fairly well; checkout meant handing in your room key... that was all they could do, as the reception was overrun with staff. It would have been better, of course, if there had been staff at every security door in the stairwell... because if you wanted to get back to your room after breakfast, you couldn't get to your floor. There was a noticeable amount of anxiety towards guests with children. The breakfast buffet was surprisingly good. Let's just say it wasn't worth the money... now I know what kind of room I might have gotten if I'd paid extra for the New Year's Eve package with a view. It's all a lot of hype and no substance, like with TikTok.

My stay at this hotel was truly a great success. The hotel has an excellent location, a high level of service, and a welcoming atmosphere. However, what I will remember most is the meeting and conversation with the receptionist, Rosa. Rosa made a huge impression on me with her professionalism, friendliness, and the way she interacts with guests. From the very first moment, she greeted me with a genuine smile and made me feel welcome. Our conversation was brief, but it will stay with me for a long time. It is rare to meet someone who knows how to combine professionalism so naturally with genuine warmth and humanity. Moreover, a particularly pleasant surprise was that Rosa helped me in my native language, Polish. When you are abroad, it means a great deal to hear your own language and to notice that someone is making an effort to ensure that a guest feels at ease. This made me feel even more welcome and well taken care of. I would like the hotel management to know that they have an exceptional employee on their team. Rosa has enormous potential, and her dedication, politeness, and manner of interacting with people deserve the highest praise. It is precisely employees like her who ensure that guests enjoy returning and recommend the hotel to others with conviction. Thank you very much for the wonderful stay. I hope that many doors will open for Rosa in her life, just as she opens the hearts of her guests with her smile and kindness. I wish her all the best.

The room was fine but it's ridiculous that the hotel has no specific hotel rate for the parking even though it's the same complex. I had to pay 80 euros for 2 days of parking...

I went to the rooftop for a drink and ordered a non-alcoholic cocktail, "Virgin Nhow," without ice because it was already quite cold outside. Imagine my surprise when it arrived served in a simple tap water glass, not even half full! They use 80% ice, as you can see in the photo comparing my glass to my friend's. What's more, the cocktail itself wasn't good at all. For a rooftop bar at a classy, well-maintained hotel, this is simply absurd and frankly disappointing. Furthermore, to enjoy the view, you absolutely must make a reservation and pay a deposit. Otherwise, it's impossible to access the rooftop, even after the reservation holders have left. I do not recommend it!!
