TRIBE Hotel Den Haag Centraal

As a long-time, very satisfied Mercure guest, I am deeply disappointed. We have been loyal Mercure guests for years – this stay unfortunately shows that appearances are more important than substance. The location is indeed excellent – ​​that was one of the few real positives of the stay. All the more frustrating, then, is the most serious issue: there is no longer a refrigerator in the room – and this is unfortunately not mentioned anywhere during the booking process. This is now standard equipment in most hotels, and it was always available at the Mercure before, but apparently not here. For us, this was a real problem, as we needed to keep medication refrigerated. Anyone who doesn't painstakingly research this beforehand or read all the room details in the fine print will fall into a trap – you would practically have to compare each room individually to notice something like this. This should be communicated transparently, not hidden. Disappointment followed disappointment in other areas as well: at check-in, there was absolutely no information – not even about the Wi-Fi. In the middle of summer, a thick winter blanket lay on the bed, while one of the two elevators was out of order for days…waiting times were impossible! In the mornings, construction noise made sleeping in impossible. For a house in this price range and with these expectations, this is simply unacceptable. Far from true quality – a shame, because the location alone had the potential for so much more.

Beautiful hotel right at the heart of Den Haag. Staff is extremely friendly and speak multiple languages. I personally also really enjoyed the check-out time of 12 pm because you get to actually enjoy your morning and don’t have to rush. Would come back in heartbeat. ☺️

I had an amazing stay at Tribe Den Haag! After staying at another Tribe location, I can honestly say the experience here was completely different—in the best way. The staff were exceptional: genuinely warm, friendly, and always willing to go above and beyond to help. Every interaction made me feel welcomed, and their outstanding customer service really stood out. The hotel itself is beautiful, with modern, stylish, and very clean facilities. Everything feels brand new, and the location is excellent—central, convenient, and easy to get around. As a solo traveler, I also appreciated how safe and comfortable I felt throughout my stay. This was by far my favorite hotel of my trip, and I honestly wish I had stayed here instead of the Amsterdam city location. I will absolutely stay at Tribe Den Haag again the next time I’m in The Hague. Highly recommend!

Surprisingly good, in a time when not everything is taken for granted anymore. A very minor flaw was that our room wasn't ready at the agreed time, but another one was quickly arranged. We were briefly worried we would have to pay 15,000 Euros (because we arrived at a hotel on Spui, The Hague), but that was more of an inside joke. Seriously though: clean, good service, delicious breakfast, well organized. Nice central location.

I really liked it; it's not far from the center, the atmosphere is very nice. 👍😃😃

The hotel is fine, with good rooms. The surroundings are disappointing. On the east side, it is a kind of ghetto, with noise until deep into the night from loitering teenagers and show riders with loud exhausts.

Very much enjoyed my stay at this Tribe hotel. Room was very comfortable and well equipped with plenty of room. It is next door to Amare theatre which is great for me and there is a very good Chinese restaurant - also next door. The hotel restaurant HitchHike is very nice and the food there is a quality experience. It is a very easy location to the rest of Den Haag as well with short walks to many districts of the city. The staff were brilliant, friendly and responsive to requests. They definitely enhanced my stay there.
