We needed somewhere to stay to attend a couple pf gigs at the O13. Couldn’t have asked for a better location than this! Set on the Main Street opposite the bus and train stations and 650 metres from the venue it was perfectly situated. The rooms had exactly what a traveller needs, comfy beds, 4-gang sockets, USB-A and USb-C wall sockets, and a fan. The fan was a godsend in 30°+ weather. Guus is a great host offering local advice about everything from where to get breakfast to buying shorts or sandals 🤣 He took the time to get to know his guests, making them welcome and adding that memorable ‘something’ to a stay. The menu of both food and drinks for the evening is varied and of a really good standard. The choice of beer was fantastic! Next time we come for a gig, we’ll be staying at Het Wapen Van Tilburg.

After checking details I made a booking for Sunday 21 Jun, 2 people in double room. After booking and paying I got an email saying that i needed to arrive by 21:30, as staff finish early. 21:30 was about my expected arrival time, so OK. This information should be shown before booking. Then I was sent WhatsApp to arrive by 21:00. I was due to arrive at 21:00, but there was a delay with trains and I arrived at 21:20 and the staff member was there, so all OK, but what happens if there is more delay? Do I arrive in Tilburg at 22:00 without a car and I need to call around to find a hotel??? This shows a lack of care for guests, please update your website and emails. The room was very small, no air con, the window was very small and only opens a little, it was boiling hot. There was a fan, but very noisy. We could not sleep well, which is not acceptable for a hotel.

The food and drinks were really amazing, enjoyed it for the 2nd time! I had been once before for music bingo as a sort of team outing with work; it was really fun and well organized!!!

Had a delicious meal, not pricey at all, and nice that they paid attention to my girlfriend's birthday! Thank you! Something else nice if you're here: local beer from Hilvarenbeek by De Roos!

Its alright for a nights stay, no ac though. Shared bathroom is fine. Sink in the room makes noise at night as the pipes are drying or something, surprisingly loud. Location is next to a pretty busy road I guess so you get plenty of city noise.

Very small room, but neat and clean. Very friendly welcome. A lot of noise, no good night's sleep due to too much background noise.
