Hotel Bristol

A fantastic hotel. Had a room with a balcony facing the backyard. Quiet and peaceful. The service is magical and the breakfast is legendary.

The reception gave me a very pleasant experience🙏 Good breakfast in elegant surroundings. Comfortable bed and very nice room. I would like to stay at Hotel Bristol again 😊

So I came here for the hot chocolate having heard rumours that it does the best one in Olso. As most Google reviews are for the hotel, I'm here to tell anyone who's in Olso hunting a hot chocolate to come straight here! You won't be disap~pointed. We got hit chocolate for two and a cake to share. Everything was delicious and delightful. The hot chocolate was a whole POT and was smooth and rich without being too sweet. The cake tasted like something your mum/ grandmother would make for only special occasions. Added to all this, the cafe/restaurant is beautiful and the staff attentive and friendly. Definitely the best hot chocolate in Olso, and one of the best I've ever had.

The seminar section works well. Great and dignified premises. Good food.

We just went there got hot chocolate at the downstairs bar. Had a very old world luxury feel to the palace, very nice. Dim moody lighting, comfy seats, lovely wait staff, and the hot chocolate was to die for, seriously. It's quite pricey but we got given a massive pot between the two of us that had like a litre of hot chocolate in, seriously, we got 4 full cups from it easily. If you like hot chocolate this is the place to get it in Oslo, especially if you need a break from exploring or to escape the cold. Just FYI usually before 5 they insist that you eat as well if buying drinks, but as it wasn't busy the let it slide for us (but you could just buy some cake, which we did anyway and that was delicious too).

We have two amazing days att this beautiful hotel. Everything was flawless from checking until checkout. The receptionist, so kindly, offered us a upgraded room with a terrace on arrival. The interior is stunning, the rooms are comfortable, and the bed with accessories was high standard. The staff was polite and respectful. There is a beautiful spa which is a must to visit, it equipped with different saunas, steamroom, rain walk, different pools, and options to do mudmask and other facial treatments free of charge. We did not try any of the paid spa services, but it wouldn't surprise me if also those are of exceptional standard. The lobby is always staffed, also at night, which feels safe given the high traffic in the area and open doors to the hotel all night. The breakfast offers a great variety of selection, although I would wish for some more selection in terms of juices and fruit. The hotel is very nicely located and everything is close by. It's a short distance from the Oslo central where there is direct train to the airport. The checkout was easypeasy through the app. We will definitely be back.

If you’re looking for a great experience in Oslo, I truly recommend Bristo Hotel. I had a wonderful stay there, and from the very beginning I felt comfortable and welcome. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, the rooms are beautifully kept and very comfortable, and the overall quality of the services is outstanding. It’s the kind of place where you can really relax and enjoy your time, thanks also to the caring and attentive staff. Staying at Bristo Hotel definitely made my time in Oslo even more special.

My wife and I stayed at Hotel Bristol in Oslo for one night before continuing on to the next leg of our trip. With limited time, we chose to do the “Norway in a Nutshell” journey from Bergen to Oslo. By the time we arrived at the hotel around 11 PM on a rainy night, we were exhausted, cold, and completely soaked. Upon arrival, Sunniva warmly greeted us and assisted with check-in. We chatted briefly, and she immediately noticed how wet and tired we were. She was incredibly kind and sympathetic, even apologizing for the uncooperative weather. After checking in, we asked if she had any recommendations for a quick bite before bed. Unfortunately, most restaurants had already closed—likely due in part to the Easter holiday. Sunniva mentioned that the hotel restaurant was also closed, but kindly offered to check if there might be any leftover sandwiches available. A few minutes later, she returned to share the options, then went back once more and came out with two sandwiches beautifully arranged on a tray. What might seem like a small gesture meant so much to us in that moment. We truly appreciated her thoughtfulness and willingness to go above and beyond. The hotel itself has a wonderful old-world charm, and Sunniva embodied that same sense of warmth, class, and genuine hospitality. We didn’t get the chance to see her again at checkout to say goodbye, so we hope this review conveys our gratitude. Thank you again, Sunniva, for making sure we didn’t go to bed hungry. We truly appreciated your kindness and look forward to staying at Hotel Bristol again the next time we’re in Oslo. Oh, and the hotel itself was excellent: clean, comfortable, well situated, and had a killer breakfast!!

Very helpful staff, everything is clean and the interior is beautiful. I highly recommend it.
