We had some setbacks.

This is our second year going, and the experience was great again. This time we booked a smaller apartment, but it's still comfortable, with air conditioning and the pool right in front. It's located in a very quiet area, but at the same time close to the beach and the town's bars and restaurants. We'll definitely be back.

The apartment was smaller than we expected. There were three of us, and they forgot a set of towels. Furthermore, one of the towels that was there was stained. We asked for a replacement, and it took them over an hour to bring it. Also, when we got to the room, the floor was still wet, as if they had just finished cleaning it. The pool has no lifeguard, and nobody cleans it. In the morning, the entire pool is covered in leaves, which we guests have to clean by hand because there isn't even a net. The lawn isn't very well maintained; there are brown patches that are prickly.

We've been coming here for years, and we've noticed that there are never any renovations despite the price increasing (no ventilation, no range hood, no smoke detectors) – the list goes on, it's too long. We're done with this place; we don't want to hear about it anymore.

Completely outdated and run-down.

You have to walk 3km to get the key. It's noisy; you can hear everything. Very dirty; there was hair on the bed. Not recommended.

Very comfortable and has everything you need

We chose this hotel because it was the Sitges Film Festival and we had no other option. We booked through Agoda, and nowhere did it say we had to go pick up the keys at a place 30 minutes away on foot. We checked again, and the only place it mentioned it was in the confirmation email, in tiny gray text at the very bottom… if we had known, we wouldn't have fallen for it. It seems like they're hiding this on purpose. The place is very retro, too neglected, old, with horrible orange lights, and dirty. The bathroom door is disgustingly damp, and the bed is tiny with sheets that look like they haven't been used between guests. The kitchen must be from 1960… It's in a nice area, and the pool is okay, but it needs maintenance. And this whole thing about getting the keys at the end of Sitges is ridiculous. At least they let you leave them in the mailbox at the entrance during checkout.

Apartment MANOLO at €1273 for 6 nights... The air conditioning in the double bedroom smells like damp dog. The ancient toaster keeps tripping the circuit breaker. The curtains are covered in mold. It's impossible to get cold water in the bathtub for a shower because the faucet is so old. We're still waiting for the technician to fix this problem... luckily the shower by the pool allowed us to wash with warmer water! There's no light in the fridge. The old stovetop cooks pasta in 45 minutes because it's so worn out. The cleaning is minimal... Not a single lounge chair to relax by the pool. I stayed in this apartment 10 years ago, and I guarantee you nothing has changed... the furniture is dated and the bedding is subpar. This is the last year I'll book anything through SUNWAY SITGES.

The apartment was larger. But dirty. Disappointing.

I'm giving one star because I can't give less. Cleanliness is nonexistent and the building is in disrepair. It's incredible. I booked the week of August 4th to 11th, 2023. I found a used condom in the laundry bucket on the floor! It also contained a sachet of the same under the bed. The bedroom furniture is dilapidated, with doors falling off. The bedroom smells of mold, with mold-filled plastic curtains and open cracks in the walls. The bathroom, dating back to the 1970s, smells like sewers and musty air. Before staying, I had to go to the supermarket to buy bleach and cleaning products. If I could have seen the rooms first, I would never have stayed there!
