Racó del Conill – wörtlich „die Kaninchenecke“ auf Valencianisch – ist eine kleine felsige und kieselige Bucht an der Küste zwischen Villajoyosa und Benidorm, direkt unterhalb des Wachturms Torre d'Aguiló. Es ist der etablierteste FKK-Strand der Costa Blanca: Nacktbaden reicht hier bis in die 1970er Jahre zurück, und das Rathaus von Villajoyosa hat sogar spitzbübische Schilder („Al racó, millor en conill“) aufgestellt, um die Tradition des optionalen Kleidens zu schützen. Dieser langjährige, freigeistige Ruf hat ihn zu einem der wenigen Orte rund um La Vila gemacht, die eine echte schwule Anhängerschaft haben und nachmittags im Sommer am belebtesten sind. Die Bucht ist über einen Fußweg von der alten Küstenstraße N-332 aus zu erreichen, und es gibt keine Dienstleistungen, also bringen Sie Wasser, Schatten und feste Schuhe mit. Ein ruhigerer, bewaldeter Abschnitt oberhalb des Strandes ist lokal als Gay-Cruising-Gebiet bekannt. Wie überall gilt: Bleiben Sie in den öffentlichen, tolerierten Zonen, respektieren Sie andere Strandbesucher und seien Sie diskret – Spanien ist eines der LGBTQ+-freundlichsten Länder Europas, aber dies bleibt ein gemeinsamer öffentlicher Strand.

Beautiful as always, just a reminder to those who might be unaware that it's a traditional nudist beach. It says so on a couple of signs along the path and at the entrance. We have very few places left where we can enjoy the sea in Conill. Please respect this.

Racó del Conill is one of the wildest and most breathtaking coves on the Costa Blanca. Nestled between the cliffs of the Sierra Helada mountain range, its crystal-clear water and pebbly sand give it a unique and natural charm. The hike to reach it is part of the adventure, along trails with spectacular views of the Mediterranean. This tranquil nudist cove, far from the hustle and bustle, is well worth a visit. An absolutely magical, picture-postcard landscape.
