Everything is good, vibe, music, staff, the friendliness of everyone, the guards, drinks, food. Love is love. You feel good here! It's family-friendly, the music is great, the people are open and lovely, the food is wonderful and the prices are reasonable! Ate their risotto last time and it was really nice! Then they have Porter beer! Who doesn't love that! You have to come here, especially as a queer, but everyone is welcome here! See you! Edit! The Porter beer is gone!! Replaced by Guiness, which is not the same by a long shot, so they get minus points for that ;)

Perfect Saturday lunch; best pickled salmon I've ever had, wonderful potatoes in a good sauce. Lots of people, but still great service. Ok price. I wasn't completely full (but my partner was), but they fixed that when I asked!

Best restaurant I've visited in all of Gothenburg, it exceeded all expectations! It was a pure chance that my group and I went here for dinner and we'll never forget it! We received an incredibly friendly and warm welcome, were seated at a table right away, the food was the best we've ever eaten: rating 11/10! Pure happiness for both the taste buds and the soul to visit this place. I have no complaints whatsoever. Thank you so much for the great service and a fantastic meal with a very good red wine to go with the food.

“TEABAG GATE 2026” On Wednesday, May 20 2026 in the mid-afternoon, myself and two friends decided to go back to this establishment as the night prior we had arrived from Australia and went for drinks to start our evening and had the most incredible experience here!!! The two gentlemen on May 19 looking after and serving the front outside area could not have been more welcoming, friendly and attentive! We chatted with them about our travels and we just loved it / them and we stayed for drinks. They treated every customer there in the same wonderful way. We then left for a dinner reservation elsewhere and returned back a few hours later for more drinks and desert as we loved the experience so much! The two waiters welcomed us again with open arms saying “the Aussies are back” and again the experience for our first night in Gothenburg was divine thanks to them! The next day we knew we wanted to go back in the afternoon to enjoy the sun, atmosphere, and have some drinks and food at our new Favourite venue! . We arrived and the lady at the desk directed us to an area to sit and said our waitress would be with us soon! An older lady approached and we kindly asked if we could sit at a particular empty table in the sun, which had dirty glasses from a previous customer, she didn’t speak but vocally huffed & puffed as she abruptly grabbed the past customers drinks and quickly wiped the table and left! We thought it was maybe a “funny” act and maybe she wasn’t being serious with that reaction. We sat down and the couple at the table next to us commented “she doesn’t seem happy”. We smiled and thought not much of it. The same waitress returned and asked “what can I get you?”. My friends ordered a drink each and I had an “English Breakfast Teabag” in my hand and kindly said “would you mind if I could just get some hot water and I’ll use my own teabag as you don’t have this tea available on the menu but will still pay for it”. Then TEABAG GATE commenced…. The waitress flared up with such angst and proceeded to lecture me that I cannot bring the teabag into the restaurant as it is against the law in Sweden to bring something in! It was as if I had shown her a weapon. I kindly said, Oh! Um! This is our 3rd time here in 24 hours and the two gentlemen last night were so welcoming… she said “I bet they were”. A direct dig at her colleagues and an implied negative sarcastic undertone as them and us were obviously gay men! Keeping in mind it is an advertised LGBTI “friendly” venue. My friend then said without any attitude back “I think we may leave”. The waitress then proceeded to follow us all the way out and kept ranting about how I could not bring in a teabag. It was the most unhinged, over the top, unprofessional & unnecessary reaction we have ever seen!! We are tourists in the city and as I don’t drink alcohol I always carry this particular teabag and ask kindly the server at any restaurant if they don’t stock it, if I could use mine but will still pay full price, plus while ordering other food off the menu. This being what five other cafes in Sweden had done over the past 48 hours for me without a problem what so ever and a smile! Even as I type this feedback I have no anger just total confusion at this waitress and her extreme hostility. The woman should not be in the customer service industry, she clearly hates her job. I would have had no problem if she said “sorry we can’t do that”. We never raised our voices, we were previous loyal paying good customers and this waitress ruined the whole experience. It was so UNHINGED! I would expect many customers this day had her unwelcoming attitude which we could feel and started the moment we walked in. Such a shame
