Perfect Location and super cozy rooms

This aparthotel is amazing! It feels like you are at home due to his cozy interior, as well as the fact that other hotel occupants and employees are so kind and welcoming!!! I have stayed there for 10 days and truly had everything I need, including the laundry room and a small fitness/gym area. There are excellent specialty coffee and matcha places around, as well as various cuisine restaurants. Apart from the cozy atmosphere, I was able to get some good night sleep as the area is super very quiet, although being close to the central train station. I would be staying at this aparthotel every time I visit Lausanne, for suuuuure !!!

Perfect location, really in the heart of Lausanne. The rooms are clean and furnished with what you need. There is also working area and gym area included. Its very near to the train station and there are lots of cafes and restaurant around. Grancy metro is walkeble distance and eşyalar to reach everywhere. The management is 7/24 reachable. We will come again with the family. Thank you for everyone.

Excellent location, very convenient for getting to the city. Not too noisy, beautifully decorated and very clean rooms. Warm atmosphere and a very comfortable bed. A very pleasant experience. My husband and I will definitely be back!

An impeccable stay for our Wild Comedy team! We came from Paris with two friends for a weekend in Lausanne – two nights at the Base Hotel, during our Wild Comedy stand-up event. And honestly… we couldn't wait to leave! The rooms are modern and incredibly well-designed (special mention goes to the bed, which makes you want to skip your own shows). The location is ideal, just a stone's throw from the train station! The added bonus? The feeling of being expected, a truly warm welcome, impeccable cleanliness, and a welcome sense of calm after setting the stage ablaze for two days. A big thank you to the Base Hotel team for helping to make this weekend an unforgettable experience! We promise, we'll be back next time…

Pleasant Long-Term Stay at Base Lausanne I spent the entire month of May at Base Lausanne, attending language classes in the mornings and working remotely in the afternoons. My stay in Apartment XL (201) was very pleasant overall. Excellent Location and Surroundings The accommodation is extremely centrally located: the train station, the Grancy metro station, various gyms (Update, Let’s Go), and supermarkets such as Coop, Migros, and Denner are all within easy walking distance. A large park within walking distance is perfect for jogging. It's perfectly understandable that a central location involves some street noise, but it was within my expectations. Well-Equipped Apartment Apartment XL is very well-equipped and allows for easy self-catering. In addition to a freezer compartment in the refrigerator for meal prep, there is an oven with an integrated microwave function, a two-burner cooktop, a dishwasher, and all necessary kitchen utensils. I cooked for myself every day and had everything I needed. Cleanliness and Housekeeping For stays of one week or longer, one apartment cleaning is included in the price. I booked a second weekly cleaning, which was absolutely worth it. The housekeeper was very friendly, reliable, and thorough. The cleaning included emptying the kitchen bin, refilling dishwasher tablets and coffee capsules, changing towels and bed linens, and vacuuming and mopping all the floors. Everything was perfect. Responsive Service A minor technical issue with the oven was immediately resolved by in-house staff the day after I reported it. Furthermore, the waste management system in the building is exemplary – there is a well-organized recycling station for garbage, glass, paper, and cardboard in front of the building. Additional Amenities The washing machines and dryers were available free of charge and were always available when I used them. Unusual Booking Process The only odd experience during my stay, or rather before my stay, concerned the booking process. Since a terrace was important to me, I had already reserved the only apartment with one the previous year. A few months later, my booking was canceled without an alternative offer, due to technical reasons. I then immediately booked the smaller XL apartment through the Base Lausanne website. During my stay, I discovered that the terrace apartment was occupied... Conclusion: Despite the unusual booking experience, my stay at Base Lausanne was extremely pleasant. The amenities, cleanliness, and central location are excellent. I will definitely return and can highly recommend this accommodation.

The room is small but functionally furnished. The air conditioning is incredibly loud, and the location is a disaster. It feels like the motorcycles and cars are driving right through the apartment at 2:00 AM. Absolutely not recommended for a relaxing stay!
