Great selection of healthy dishes! Friendly team

We stumbled across this place in the city centre, had we looked at the prices we probably wouldn’t have stayed. However, we don’t mind paying for excellent food and service and it had both of these. The lemon and basil ravioli lunch special was beautiful. The veal and roast potatoes were also class! Excellent food but very very expensive for what it was, the portions were small.

Kindli was once an excellent restaurant. Sadly, it isn't anymore. The dishes are average at best, and rather carelessly prepared. The service is very inattentive. The side dish arrived significantly later than the meat. Wine was served even though we hadn't finished our aperitif. We had to ask for ice cubes several times. I was very disappointed.

Restaurant Kindli impresses with its very friendly and attentive service. We felt welcome from the moment we arrived and were exceptionally well looked after throughout our visit. The food was also of good quality and delicious. Our only criticism is the, in our opinion, very high prices, which somewhat detract from the value for money. Overall, however, it's a lovely restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere and good service – therefore, we gladly award it 4 out of 5 stars.

Unwelcoming and presumptive from the very beginning. Being asked to review the menu “just in case” due to pricing before seating felt inappropriate and unprofessional. So we decided to leave. There are many good restaurants in Zurich’s Old Town, and this is not a standard you would normally expect in the city.

I’m convinced that try as you might, you’ll be hard pressed to find anywhere else in Zurich that is more reliably consistent in delivering such a well-balanced food & wine experience as we have always found over this past decade, happily returning here, as we always do when back in Zurich. And this evening was near perfect in almost every way. The comfort of the laid back but polished interior ( with its clever modern design elements) , is certainly something… but it’s that almost undefinable friendly professionalism delivering to table such fine food consistently that really wins the day! Of course à darned good cellar ( + great wines poured by the glass ) don’t go astray either -but in all fairness many other establishments have excellent wine cellars & by the glass service delivery also . No it’s the refinement of top quality ingredients managed with enormously high kitchen skills that always shines brightest for me . We shared their exquisitely fine noodles with really good summer truffles to start … I always love their classic Zürich veal w sauced mushrooms as my main …& my husband’s stunning liver main was almost reminiscent of a foie gras it was so tenderly rich & naturally sweet . Both accompanied by one of the town’s best Roesti, this combination is so delicious you cannot believe just how good everything is! And this happens every single time you come back ! And people most certainly do!!! Highly recommended. Quibbles ?.. I only wish the kitchen would always have at least one cooked green vegetable as a side . July 1: a return visit & absolutely the same service & fine food !! This time repeated our usual & much loved mains…however this time we shared a (main course) serve of Vitello Tonato as a starter - exquisite rare veal- superby plated individually- & a gorgeous version of the famed tuna/mayo sauce > divine! Alas no room for dessert- but I can only imagine how delicious they would taste! Best in show! Every time! Very Highly recommended.

Amazing food and service.

Kindli was the most special dinner experience of my trip to Zurich. In fact, on the first evening I had such a delicious traditional veal fillet and rösti (it might be one of the most delicious meals I've ever had) that I went back again on the last night of my trip. On the second evening, I had the chance to try a very simple but magnificent fish with sauce and apple pie. The sophisticated decor, elegant service, and very attentive and kind staff captivated me. Antonello and Alessandro, in particular, do a fantastic job of ensuring guest satisfaction. Thank you Kindli.
