Ristorante Bianchi

Sensational.

Everything was wonderful, the quality of the food was excellent, and the waiters were incredibly friendly. A must-visit spot. The lobster and avocado, and the seafood risotto, were a delight.

Yesterday, the two of us ate at Bindella. The seafood risotto wasn't risotto rice at all, but rather rice that was unbound and lacked creaminess, with a bit of tomato sauce. The sole was overcooked (dry). The herb sauce on top was unnecessary, as was the case with the grilled mixed fish (it just masked the fish flavor). The price-performance ratio is completely off. The service was also inattentive. All the fish in the display case were sold out by 7 pm, and the restaurant was only half full. The Parmesan cheese was some of the worst I've ever eaten. You get the feeling this is purely a tourist trap. You definitely expect better from Bindella... disappointing! Disappointing!

This restaurant really stood out to me as we were walking down the street in Zurich. The smell of the food coming from the restaurant was incredible and immediately drew me in, so I was really looking forward to dining here. I made a reservation for 9:00 p.m., but when we arrived, we were told that they had no fish available at all and that they were apparently beginning to close the kitchen. It was very disappointing to come to a seafood restaurant and find that such a large portion of the menu was no longer available. We ordered the seafood risotto, which I asked them to prepare with pasta instead, and they said that would be fine. We also ordered the lobster pasta. Unfortunately, the food was just okay. I did not taste any of the garlic flavor that I had smelled coming from the restaurant when we were walking by. My seafood pasta lacked flavor and seasoning and just didn't hit the mark. The lobster pasta was also very bland. We had to add salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes just to give it some flavor. The Hugo cocktail, however, was actually quite good and wasn't watered down. I was really looking forward to eating here, so I was quite disappointed, especially considering the prices. Based on other reviews, it seems like the food may normally be much better. Perhaps because we arrived later in the evening, our food was rushed as the kitchen was preparing to close. I'm not sure what happened, but unfortunately, our experience did not live up to our expectations.

We had dinner with friends at Ristorante Bianchi last night. The night was amazing! Our waiter was very warm and engaging with us. The food was delicious! We had the sea bream, lobster special, salmon and seafood warm salad. The wine recommendations were perfect! Special night! Highly recommend!
