It's a truly comfortable and pleasant hammam; please ignore the negative reviews. They only ask once. I think you should never believe those bad reviews; they are all very friendly. At least they don't harass you or intrude like other places. I think the atmosphere is quite good; after all, it's a nostalgic hammam, and that makes you feel wonderful. It's a perfect place; I would definitely recommend you go. ☺️

I gave 5 stars to get it to the top despite all the reviews. I went there 3 days ago and it's really a squalid place. Don't be fooled by the pictures at all, it's terrible. The shower area is a complete fiasco. The showers in the football fields are better maintained. There's no such thing as a Turkish bath; you're trying to wash in a space that's barely a square meter. The rooms are damp, sewage is running through them, the towels are like rags, the bathrobes are torn. Never go there, it's not worth 600 TL, not even 6 TL.

The sauna entrance fee is 600 lira, not including massage and other services.

It's a very neglected and dirty place... there are insects. Be careful, don't risk your health.

I am shocked that reviews here almost put me off going. Not to mention that I feel stupid. I had a great time. I didn't go for sex and I didn't go for a massage. (But if that is what you are looking for, you will not be disappointed.) I made this very clear from the beginning and my wishes were respected. I alternated between the Finish sauna and sitting and watching TV. Turkish drama series, even without Turkish, are action packed and hilarious. There is no affectation by the guys. An exchange of any kind becomes a cultural exchange. But this is a place to relax amongst locals or to engage in a more intimate way. You hold all the cards. It might not be slick, but then it wouldn't be authentic Istanbul. Whatever bougie bee-atches wrote those bad reviews should two-step back to their knitting clubs and be happy there. And any guy there that offers a massage, just politely state your lack of interest (or state your interest). It is their bread and butter, so let's get off our western-world high horses. I am going to haunt this place for the rest of my holidays. Please do not make the same mistake as me. I lost a week of relaxation because of my belief in those bad reviews. Give it a bash and do not expect high-end standards. It is real and raw. Just an update: Went today again, and it became clear that it was not a once off. The guys charming as ever, asked politely if I wanted full service and I declined politely, but I have heard that these guys know their stuff. So don't be expecting a slick european-style sauna. This is local charm with the added bonus of very handsome, masculine guys. Go and enjoy the local flavours.

It's been the same for so many years, not a single change for the better and the prices are sky high. Massage 900 pounds and it's fake. More for the extra€€€ than for the massage. It's disappointing. It's just the only place that has young kids to work
