We stayed from 01/11 - 02/11 and booked a family room as we had our 3 month son with us. We were horrified to find at least 20 dead bugs on the blind by the bath/shower, which I find simply unacceptable especially being a family room. Whilst the staff did what they could to clean the blind there were still lots of bugs stuck to the blind There was also food on the floor, and have to question what cleaning has been done prior to our arrival. I feel a full refund is a fair request given the poor standards we had to endure. The bed and flooring were simply not up modern day standards

The good rooms are excellent, but the place is let down by the Toby Carvery, which is very tired looking decor, and breakfast is dismal. Don’t stay unless you like a meat-based breakfast lunch or dinner! However the meat was of surprisingly high quality. Staff are over-worked and it shows.

Good place to stay. You can hear the road as the windows are open, it's very hot. No air conditioning but a fan was supplied. Shower is great and all you need for an overnight stop although the lights next to the bed didn't work.

Very good except for the carpet on the floor which needs to be removed
