Liverpool Pride 2026

Liverpool Pride started small, with community get-togethers, before its big relaunch in 2010. After the festival's funding fell through in 2024, a community-led effort brought it back, and it remains a fixture on the North West's LGBTQ+ calendar, pulling in tens of thousands of people.

In 2026 the march is on Saturday, 25 July. Marchers assemble around Clayton Square and Houghton Street from 10:00 and set off at 11:30 — a walking-only parade in 2026, no vehicles or floats — heading through Church Street, Williamson Square and Whitechapel into Liverpool ONE and finishing on Lord Street in the heart of the city.

The main celebration happens at the Liverpool Experience Campus, with a Community Expo, stages and stalls; there's a ticketed opening party at the M&S Bank Arena the night before. Around the official events, satellite parties and club nights run across the city, especially in the LGBTQ+ quarter.

Book accommodation early — rooms fill up fast around Pride weekend. The city centre puts you on the parade route and near transport; the Baltic Triangle is the nightlife-and-independent-venues option; the Georgian Quarter is quieter but still well connected. The march is free to watch and join; some club nights and ticketed shows will need tickets in advance, with details on the organisers' site closer to the date. Delivered in partnership by Sahir House and LCR Pride Foundation, it carries that particular Scouse warmth.
