This was actually grim. Came here for a law ball and the food was sickeningly bad to the point of being inedible. The servers were rude and the way that the floor manager spoke to customers and staff was insane. I think the DJ may have been deaf with the songs he was playing. And the bar ran out of arrival drinks before even half of the guests had arrived and didn’t bother to get more. Can’t believe that this was £55 per head. This isn’t the law societies fault, with the price of this you would expect an amazing service.

We were in the signature living which were very nice.Close to Liverpool Lime Street Station. Nice roof bar Only let down was that the bar closed at 10.00 due the hotel being quiet which wasn't good for guests.And restaurants was only open for breakfast.

My partner booked the Shankly as a surprise engagement. We honestly can’t express how amazing the team have been. They have truly made the experience magical. He told me that he had asked to do a last minute change of date and a member of the team called James was very helpful and polite during all email communications. Thank you! We also wanted to say a massive thank you to Molly who was working on reception when we arrived yesterday, she was very pleasant , took the time to ask about our stay , after we had seen the room she then made a conscious effort to say congratulations and ask to see the ring, she really did go above and beyond and we are very grateful.

Went to the shankly for a hen do! Booked 3 rooms for 2 nights under a package which included a 2 course meal, a cocktail class and bottomless brunch! The rooms were spacious and very well decorated, we had the SIN, Jungle 2 and YOLO - hidden items made for a nice surprise! Only one comment in jungle 2 an extra mirror (floor length maybe) would be a good extra! The staff were attentive and bubbly and really made the stay pleasant, they made sure they went above and beyond to make the stay the best! The food and drink was excellent! Breakfast was also delicious, big shout out to Rachel for all her help, and all the breakfast ladies! We will definitely be back!

I take my hat off to all the team here. Everyone is smiling, friendly and can’t do enough for you. First place I have been in a long time where customer service is at the forefront of everything they do. Really impressive team culture here. In August 2025 myself and my husband had our big day at the Shankly Hotel in Liverpool. I have to say the service from start to finish was second to none, they listened to all of our wishes in the planning process and incorporated everything we wanted, they were open and communicated so well throughout the whole planning process including meetings at the hotel with our wedding coordinator (Lauren, who deserves a special shout out), menu tasting, venue viewing and just general enquiries we had. On the day I was so nervous about everything coming together however the staff on the day handled absolutely everything to perfection - no task was too big or small and the whole team made sure our day was perfect and everything ran smoothly. Absolutely everything was organised and taken care of so we didn’t have a single stress on the day besides the nerves of actually getting married. We had so many people compliment our day telling us it’s the best wedding they ever attended and the location and venue was fantastic and the drinks were reasonably priced. Our bridal suite on the wedding night was the most stunning room and we were welcomed to the room with a congratulatory note and bottle of champagne. We honestly could not fault the Shankly hotel venue and wedding team in anyway it was the most perfect day from start to finish and we honestly wish we could do it all over again.

Had a fantastic stay for my hen do. Really good service from start to finish. The staff were very attentive and couldn’t do enough for you. The whole experience was amazing especially Lewis who did our bottomless brunch and cocktail making class. He was very fun and involving and made the experience exceptional. Thank you Lewis you are a credit to the company and hotel!!
