My Reply to their response to me: Thanks for your response I just want to clarify that my concern wasn’t about the other person’s behaviour outside the venue, but how the situation was handled by your security staff inside. Just to clear things up, I wasn’t asking for any action over messages or anything outside the venue. I only mentioned that for context so you could understand why I felt uncomfortable. My concern was how your security handled things on the night. I wasn’t asking for anyone to be removed, just for someone to be aware so I could feel safer. Instead, I felt dismissed, especially with the comment about me “always making complaints” and the way I was questioned. It had a real impact on me and ended up triggering a panic attack, which is why I left. I do really appreciate the bar staff, they were genuinely kind and helped me a lot in that moment. . I’d really appreciate it if my concerns about security could be properly acknowledged ,especially as someone who has spent so much time and money at this venue. People who have supported this place to stay afloat shouldn’t be dismissed like that. I also wouldn’t want anyone else, especially someone with anxiety or autism, to have a similar experiencse. The ORIGINAL review: I’ve been a regular here for quite a while. I’ve spent so many nights here, spent so much money and made so many memories. Liv, Phoebe and the bartenders have always been lovely and I’ve genuinely never had any issues with them. But I haven’t been back since October, which is the longest I’ve gone without coming in ages, and honestly I don’t plan on coming back. A few months before that, I met a girl there who really creeped me out. We exchanged Instagrams at the time, but afterwards she kept watching all my stories and messaging me, and I never replied. I have a severe anxiety disorder, and situations like that can really affect me. When I saw her again at the venue, it triggered my anxiety, so I mentioned it to a bartender just so someone would be aware in case she approached me. The bartender said she was super busy but did take me to security so I could explain everything. That’s when things went downhill. One of the security guards, the white one who used to work at Heaven, said something along the lines of “I remember you, you’d always make complaints over things that aren’t really issues.” What made that even worse is that she was referring to a situation at Heaven where I was actually treated really badly and another security guard was literally trying to fight me. That experience was already really traumatic, so having it dismissed like that and used against me was horrible. Then the other security guard, the Black one, asked me why I didn’t just block her, in a really dismissive way, like I was the problem for feeling uncomfortable. I’d already made it clear I didn’t want anyone kicked out or anything, I just wanted to feel safe if she came up to me. The whole interaction made me feel really invalidated and it triggered a panic attack. I ended up going downstairs where the bar staff were amazing. Leah and the other bartender were so kind, patient and helped calm me down while I was literally hyperventilating and crying. I’m really grateful to them for how they handled it. After that, I ended up leaving because I just didn’t feel okay staying there anymore. Since the old door staff like Casey left, it just doesn’t feel like the same place anymore. It’s really upsetting because She Bar genuinely meant a lot to me. It helped me feel safe and comfortable in myself in ways I hadn’t before. But after this, I just don’t feel safe or supported there anymore, and that’s why I won’t be returning.

Leigha makes the best cocktails in London and is such a lovely bartender to talk to when you’re a lonely gal! 😞 Their manager Liv is also very nice as well!! would defo come back!

I was made to feel extremely welcome by all the staff, especially Leigha whom im sure i bored senseless! Good luck with the London Marathon. Shout outs to Hairu, Liv and also Amy with the cute smile 😊 Hope to see you all again sometime x

The experience was fairly good, however I would have enjoyed music by queer artists. We spent a few hours in She and found it hard to find a seat after awhile. It was rather interesting that the chairs were locked together! I was able to speak and interact with a few people and I guess that was the point of it all. The entry fee was really high though :) I'm sure the chairs were locked for a reason but I keep going back to it and would love to find out why!

Very disappointed in the discriminatory door policy. Our group was three (g@y) women and a (g@y) male, and they told us there were “too many men downstairs” and refused entry to our group. This is honestly astonishing in 2023 and it’s ridiculous that our own community discriminates against each other. Will never spend another dollar here again. Honestly just go to the other G@Y bar 5 min away.

My first time at She bar and I’m obsessed! The music was spot on and the crowd was great. Huge thanks to Montana for being so helpful and professional when we arrived. Sometimes security can be intimidating, but she made us feel welcome right away. If you're looking for a great night out with the girls, this is the place.

Such a fantastic experience at She Soho! The atmosphere is incredible and the entire staff is so kind and welcoming. A special shoutout to Amy and Courtney for the great service, and a huge thanks to Lia for the beautiful cocktails—they looked stunning and tasted even better. We’ll definitely be back!

She bar has an incredibly inclusive environment and is a great place to find friends or something more. All of the staff are so kind and welcoming, the bartenders will take the time to get to know you and the bouncer, Ash is super friendly and funny. Highly recommend

I am extremely disappointed and upset by our experience at she last night. My sister, my wife, and I were turned away at the door with absolutely no explanation. When we asked for a reason, the door staff simply told us, “We don’t have to give a reason.” We were kind and respectful, there was no logical cause for us to be denied entry. To make matters worse, when we asked to speak to the manager, Liv she offered no help or clarity and just repeated what the door staff so then turned away whilst we was trying to talk to her. It felt very much like the staff judged us based on our appearance and decided we didn't "fit" their image, which is a devastating feeling to encounter in a space that claims to be for the LGBTQ+ community. While I respect that a venue has the right to refuse entry, refusing to provide any context leaves people questioning themselves and feeling excluded from their own community. A place that should be inclusive left us feeling the exact opposite. Incredibly gate-keepy and unwelcoming. We won’t be trying to come back
