Bogotá has a gay sauna scene that is modest in size but consistent in activity. The venues are concentrated in and around Chapinero and offer the standard Latin American sauna format at prices that are low even by Colombian standards. In USD or EUR terms, entry costs almost nothing.
What to expect
Bogotá saunas follow the general regional format: reception, lockers, showers, sauna areas, common rooms, and private cubicles. Most have a dark room. The altitude means the heat inside saunas feels more intense than at sea level — this is a real effect. Do not stay in hot areas longer than is comfortable, especially in your first days in the city.
Traffic is typically strongest in the evenings on weekdays and from mid-afternoon through late night on weekends. The city's consistent cold temperature makes the warm interior of a sauna appealing year-round in a way that is different from warmer cities where saunas are more specifically a winter activity.

Practical notes
Bring ID. Towels are typically provided. Condoms are available at reputable venues. Entry is very affordable. The altitude/sauna heat combination: hydrate well before entering, take breaks in cool areas, and exit if you feel dizzy or lightheaded.
