Excellent accommodation

For the first time in my life, I saw someone refuse to give me water, lol. The employee on the night shift was so rude it felt like I was doing something wrong by being there. I was leaving for the airport at 4:30 AM and rushed down with an empty bottle. Thirsty, I explained that the bottle was empty and asked if they had any water. With his usual rudeness, the employee said no (I imagine they spend the whole night there without water), almost cursing me for asking such an "absurd" question. It's unbelievable!

I stayed at Meliá Brasil 21 in Brasília for a two-week corporate trip and unfortunately the experience was far below what would be expected for a hotel charging premium rates. Several basic issues were never properly resolved during the stay: extremely uncomfortable mattress, shower drainage problems that caused flooding in the bathroom, unreliable Wi-Fi, and inconsistent housekeeping with basic items not always being replenished. What was most disappointing was not only the issues themselves, but the lack of follow-up after complaints were made. One particularly frustrating aspect was the hotel’s upselling practice. An upgraded room rate had already been agreed upon upfront, yet at checkout the charges were later separated in a way that created unnecessary complications for corporate reimbursement purposes. Despite multiple requests and acknowledgment from management, the billing issue was never properly corrected. The hotel responded politely to complaints and offered apologies, but ultimately the operational and administrative problems remained unresolved. For a property positioning itself as upscale and business-oriented, the overall level of service and attention to detail fell well below expectations. After long workdays, travelers should at minimum be able to rely on comfort, functional amenities, and straightforward billing. Unfortunately, that was not the experience here.

We stayed at Flat Particular ALM - BLOCK F. The location and service were very good. I only have one observation: considering the quality of the place, service, and room, the towels could be better; they are thin, rough, and not soft at all, "they probably aren't even 200 thread count." A good towel is at least 400 thread count or more.

A breezy and luxurious location with a view and presidential-style accommodations, offering all the best this city has to offer...congratulations!
