Centro de Referência LGBTI+ Janaína Dutra

The Centro de Referência LGBTI+ Janaína Dutra is Fortaleza's municipal LGBTQ+ reference centre, run by the city government (Prefeitura de Fortaleza). Named after pioneering Cearense travesti lawyer Janaína Dutra, it provides psychological counselling, legal aid and therapeutic support groups, with services aimed particularly at trans, travesti and non-binary residents. Open weekdays, the centre is a safe first contact point for anyone needing local support or information about LGBTQ+ services in the city.
