Über diesen Ort Aterro do Flamengo (cruising)

Dangerous, deserted and abandoned.

Great option for those in the vicinity (flamengo, cateter, botafogo). Sundays and holidays the closest road to the sea is blocked, and several passers and cyclists pass by. There are kiosks, tents with seats and sunshine rentals, squares, walking vendors, in the same style as Copacabana/Ipanema. The view is wonderful. I liked and recommend!

A beautiful park with landscaping by Burle Marx. A wonderful beach (Flamengo Beach). A must-see tour for the whole family, with sports boards, skate track and cycling path. Very very beautiful for physical activity, walks, picnics, whatever. It even has beaches. All the paths are very well maintained. It has exclusive bike paths. I really recommend it. The views are spectacular, mainly of the Sugar Loaf.

A nice work by one of the most important architects in the world, Burle Marx, ehich is being neglected for decades. However, it still keeps its amazing elegance through its plants, gardens intertwined woth the Guanabara Bay and its express road, worh cliffs and buildings on the other side. Amazing by car and by bike.

Nice, spacious park next to laguna with proper pedestrian walks and separate bike lanes. There is big monument within dedicated to fallen soldiers. Very good views on sugarloaf mountain. Safe to visit daytime, I would not recommend it after sunset.

It is a nice place to go with your family. You can do different kinds of things there: go skating, in-line skate, go biking, suntan, make a picnic, walk and so on. It is a perfect place to practice sports. The view is amazing !

In my opinion it's best to go along the aterro by bike! The views are beautiful! I would avoid the place after dark since it might not be super safe.
