Although the place is fun and provides a pleasant experience in some aspects, the organization leaves much to be desired. The employees demonstrate a lack of knowledge about their own products and services offered, in addition to not being able to correctly inform customers about what is available on the menu. Another negative point is the lack of clarity in the information disclosed. When making a reservation through Sympla, it is never explicitly stated that an entrance fee will be required upon arrival at the establishment. On the contrary, the advertisement leads the customer to understand that the amount shown on the ticket is the total amount to be paid. In addition, the information disclosed on Instagram does not correspond to the reality found on site. The establishment advertises an all-you-can-eat option, but upon arrival, the customer discovers that it only occurs on specific days, information that is not clear in the publications. The feeling is one of misalignment between the advertising and the service actually provided, which generates frustration and misguided expectations. Overall, it is an interesting place to visit once, but the experience was not positive enough to motivate a return.

Sensational experience! Boteco do Paulista is, without a doubt, one of the most lively and fun places in Salvador. The drag show is impeccable, with performances full of talent, charisma, beautiful costumes, and lots of interaction with the audience. The energy of the place is contagious! To accompany it, the beer was ice cold, the drinks are super Instagrammable, and the snacks are delicious. The atmosphere is super welcoming and safe. It's well worth arriving early to secure a spot for lots of laughs and fun!

An unmissable experience in Salvador's LGBT+ scene. Good food and cold drinks. I recommend it as a pre-party activity! (8 PM - 12 AM amazing drag show!)

I really like Boteco do Paulista, but I need to leave some feedback about the lack of respect I experienced yesterday, Wednesday (May 20th). I invited friends and family, attracted by their Instagram ad about the all-you-can-eat appetizers and the show by Arthur Sol and Verenna Drag. Upon arrival, we were informed by the receptionist that there would be no all-you-can-eat option. To make matters worse, the receptionist treated us with disdain, saying that the restaurant advertises even knowing that there won't be an all-you-can-eat option (according to her, it was also advertised last Wednesday and it didn't happen), and that if we wanted, we could look for another place in Rio Vermelho that had many other restaurants with all-you-can-eat options. Even with the misleading advertising and gratuitous rudeness, we went in and ordered à la carte. I have a lot of affection for the place, but the total misalignment between online communication and reality, and the lack of professionalism in the service, left us very disappointed. This serves as a warning to management to review the team's training. I've been there several times and had wonderful experiences, but something seems to be going wrong. Furthermore, I checked via direct message with your profile and it was confirmed that the all-you-can-eat option is ONLY not available on Fridays and Saturdays. Besides that, there are many other problems; we couldn't order the à la carte food platter because it suddenly sold out, and on Instagram it says the restaurant opens at 6 PM but opens at 7 PM... it was a night that was only saved by the drag show, because the service was depressing.

The atmosphere and concept are great, the shows are always very fun, and the service (for the type of business they offer, ordering everything via a digital menu) is okay. Regarding the all-you-can-eat appetizers, it's always advertised, but the last two times I went, it wasn't available without any prior notice. I recommend contacting the bar to confirm if they will offer the all-you-can-eat option.
