Hostel la Antigua Cápsula

Probably one of the worst hostels I've ever stayed in, first they overbooked the accommodation so I had to be moved (booked my stay months in advance) then noone could tell me when I was moving rooms, when I got to the dorm they told me all the lockers were full so I just had to leave my bags out on the floor and check again at 3, when I did noone was around, checked again at 7 and took nearly an hour to get a locker cleaned out because they'd agreed to let someone keep their stuff in till midnight even though they'd checked out, turns out this was a common thing when I spoke to others in the dorm that had to sleep with their bags. Also the hot tub was gross, when they turned on the jets brown bubbles formed. There's a dog wandering around freely no warning given, not great for people not comfortable around dogs. Also the capsule itself wasn't great, around the mattress was a load of gunk and the plug socket was very high and unstable. Whenever I plugged in my adaptor it fell out quickly and falling from that height made it hurt too.

Duvis and her team our wonderful. We loved the location and the comfort of seeing her and her staff as we entered and left throughout the day. They have good working spaces, fast WiFi and are quick to respond to any issues as well as provide recommendations. Sayomi is specifically a delight- she is helpful if you need something “household related” and has a great smile as she delivers breakfast. Would highly recommend a stop here!

I booked a room for two people, went with my daughter (a minor), and we stayed two nights. We received excellent service, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the facilities were clean and well-maintained. The owner treated us well the entire time, helping us and answering our questions about the city. The location isn't in the main party area, which is great for a family-friendly environment. We saw pets, which was a nice touch! 👍

We were only here to do laundry 😆 The receptionist was super nice and the laundry was perfectly washed.

My friends and I got scammed by Airbnb, and this hostel was a bit of a last resort. If I had other options, I would have chosen this hostel anyway. The staff is incredibly kind and friendly. They really took great care of us. For 30,000 COP, the owners did our laundry for us, and they even folded it! After all, it's a hostel, but the quality for the price was more than we expected. You're close to the city center, and the streets are safe (if you take a little precaution). In short, I'll never forget this hostel. Thank you for this stay! 🫶

A unique experience, clean spaces and very special attention, without a doubt I would recommend it if you are looking for a good place to rest and enjoy your vacation.

Excellent service from the owner and her colleague, very friendly. I just wish they had notified me in advance that I would be given a different room than the one I booked, instead of telling me after I had paid. That's the only reason I'm not giving them 5 stars. Otherwise, it's a very pleasant, pet-friendly hotel, and the staff are friendly and attentive. 🤍

Beautiful place, the location is ideal if you want to walk to the historic center and the pier. The service is spectacular, the breakfast delicious, the rooms very clean and have air conditioning, which is a blessing, and there's a Jacuzzi. We are very grateful for the service.

I visited this hostel over the November 1st holiday weekend and I thought it was amazing. I stayed in the suite and it was spectacular. The breakfasts are delicious, 10 out of 10!
