Bayview Inn

So the place seems to be owned by a husband and wife, and they point out they have a ton of cameras, which feels very weird. Only because they pointed it out so much. Made me think there might be cameras in the room but I didn’t check for that after a simple inspection The room itself, was dirty. Floors weren’t clean, bed had a stain, bathroom door had a hole in the door, and the tub was disgusting. Yellow spots all over and a hair ball. The wifi wasn’t great, and the tv was a bit broken, and because of this we decided not to stay instead after inspecting the room The male at first said he would only keep $25 Then he made himself mad by repeating that we need to learn to not do this to rooms but again most rooms are actually clean. He then raised the price to 45 He kept ranting in a circle, mentioning that we were wasting receipts paper when they had their own system set up for returns in an inefficient way. He then tried to raise it to $100, and when I (a woman) tried to speak up and ask why it keeps changing he tried to cut me off immediately (which he didn’t do to my bf) He then got more belligerent and tried to say he’d keep the whole deposit (300) and then tried to say he would call the cops on us He also tried to threaten to black list us, but honestly we would never set foot in this place again. The rooms are dirty but the owner is completely unstable Thank god his wife was able to stay calm. I’m not sure how they are still in business if this is how he treats people

We checked in. Did our room checks for beg bugs and other dirty stuff. The room was cold. smelled bad. And it looked like there was a room fire because of all the cigarette build up. The bathroom door was kicked in. We had bought a week and went to ask for a refund. We politely informed them of the issues in our room and they checked and agreed the room is dirty.The owner started yelling at us. Tired to charge us for the night after 10 minutes. The owner also threaten to keep the deposit and to call the police. His wife had to deescalate the situation and take care of it himself, and he was yelling at her during the entire process.

Place is dirty, to shower had to wash the tub, toenails left in the tub, having a shower was a night mate black hair falling out of the facility, the owner is very rude, watching our ever move (STAKING PERSON). The only props I give is a walk away from the beach.

Bayview Inn was a great place to stay at! Came here for a visit to orillia with my family. We felt extremely welcomed by the staff at bayview inn. The rooms were extremely clean as well. The staff were available to provide service whenever needed. The motel is located at a great spot as there is a beach located right near it, it’s walking distance. There are also places nearby where you can grab something to eat. It is a safe place as well as I felt safe staying there with my family and partner. Have came here several times in the past to visit Orillia and will definitely be coming back! Recommend it!

Worse hotel ever complain about everything

Was so bad the land lord dose not let kids play in yard and the you can’t use the phone ☎️ that is provided or you get kicked out and the sheets have mold growing crumbs everywhere and there is no service

Owners make you feel like family. Always there whatever your needs. I have spent a few months here. No other place in Orillia is better. Rick Berry

The owner is great. Location is good.

Rooms were dark and had a musty smell. No elevator so you had to carry your luggage up the stairs.

I am really glad we decided to go take a look at the place. I read the reviews and it's not at all what's said. Very friendly and accommodated us with no problems. We will be a return customer already booked the same room for next time. 😀
