Every single time I come to spot access something become significantly less enjoyable than my last visit. During my last visit, the man at the front counter was so incredibly rude and withheld my five dollar deposit because I was a few minutes late checking out. This time the gentleman at the front counter a different individual questioned my sexuality verified my ID in order to ensure that I was old enough - let’s be clear I’m almost 40 and I’ve been coming here for 20 years. He refused me and my partner service for no reason would not provide any explanation for it be that he felt we were under age, perhaps intoxicated, perhaps any other reasonable explanation. And simply turned us away. I am very much looking forward to hearing back from management, or ownership, within the next few days in order to rectify the situation before I escalate to the city’s Liquor license board and business license council clearly there is a reason that we were denied entry and that was not shared with us. As far as I’m concerned that’s discriminatory and I’m sure the Canadian Human Rights council will feel the same way.

This is a nice place however I usually get two towels one larger than the other and they usually ask for a $10 deposit when I checked out to leave they're supposed to give me the $10 deposit back to me. They only gave me five dollars back. I don't know if the guys at the front do it on purpose or it's an honest mistake but it's happened more than once so be careful guys when you check out make sure you get your full deposit back Reply to the owner the receipt they gave me says on it I gave a $10 deposit they chose to give be back only $5 this has happened several times

Overall, this is a great, inclusive club men with a clean environment and decent amenities. The gym itself is easily a 5-star experience. However, I’m concerned about a lapse in locker room security this past Thursday. My wallet was taken from my locker during a midnight session, and with no recovery after 48 hours, it's clear the facility is attracting the wrong element. It’s a shame to see such a quality space compromised; management needs to prioritize member safety and tighten entry/locker protocols so we can trust the 'inclusive' environment they’ve built. 5 stars for the equipment, 1 star for security.

Every time I travel to Toronto, I always spend one night here at Spa Excess and one night at Steamworks Bath. I don’t know if you ever put yourselves on the other side of the counter and experience things as a customer. At every visit, I face the same situation. The excitement I feel when I arrive here doesn’t last more than 15 minutes. It’s impossible to truly relax and enjoy myself sexually for three reasons that make me leave after about one hour every time. The music is not suitable for a sauna but feels more like nightclub music; the voice announcements to call people who are late or to announce the bar’s closing have no place here and kill everyone’s erection. The décor, with small pink lights next to the sling, feels a bit too feminine. Thank you as well for the smoking terrace, but it makes no sense to put smokers right next to the door and non-smokers at the back of the terrace—the opposite would be much more logical.

They scammed me gave me a broken note, they take a deposit? First time ever. Its a place for really Old man. It’s ok but nobody says this in comments. Like+90 yo. I’m 22. But I tried to relax

Clean. Wide. Spacious. Spa Water turquoise not dirty at all. Really clean. Respectful surroundings costumers.

Amazing staff , they are always nice to me and so brilliant all of them , super friendly . Amazing place to have fun and relax. Always fun. The only thing is the drug use by people there (not openly they use ) behind doors . I’m sober and like to have fun with clear head and always there are guys who are sober like to have fun . Love this place

I visited this place twice in a row back in 2005. Wow—20 years have passed, yet the beautiful memories still linger in my mind. The first time I went, I didn’t know what to expect and felt a bit nervous, but I was quickly put at ease. First of all, the place was spotlessly clean. Second, the staff and customers were all incredibly kind, well-mannered, and polite. My missing watch was even found by a customer in the locker room and returned to the front desk! The second time I visited, it was a busy weekend night. Over thirty people approached me, and I had so much fun! It was truly one of the most glorious nights of my life—something I will never forget. Finally, I made two wonderful friends there. They took me to dinner, invited me to their beautiful home, and even wrote recommendation letters for me. It has been 20 years now and I wonder if I still can get 30 people.

Usually I would never review such an establishment but I had an experience here that really made me uncomfortable. I've never really gone to a bathouse/spa before and recently I decided to give it a try. I was so nervous that I didn't get to really enjoy the whole experience because I felt overwhelmed. The 2nd time I gave it a try getting a room. It was going so well until time to check out I hadn't heard my room called and didn't know the time was on the receipt. Needless to say I checked out a 40 minutes late, that's my fault but the gentleman at the front was so extremely rude and aggressive when I asked about my key deposit back. He told me I am not getting it back because I don't deserve it and I should know better. I tried to explain to him that I was new to it and that it was a learning lesson but rather than try to talk to me like a decent person, he rudely dismissed me by swearing me away. If this is how newcomers/first timers are treated the desire to go back is sadly gone and he ruined me even trying anywhere else like it. So much for trying something new. The staff that checked me in were so awesome. That guy that checked me out was a piece of work.
