The Fountainhead Pub

I went into fountainhead for drinks with a friend of mine and I had a really great experience. The waitress, Kyla was super kind and knowledgeable about the menu. They recommended us the peach Bellini which was definitely a hit! Will definitely come back here, especially with pride coming up.

Offering a limited menu during world cup was disappointing. Fries were soft and soggy. Ceasar salad was really nice but as a side dish was pretty small. They were also out of most zero-beer which is frustrating for designated driver.

I first visited The Fountainhead back in 2002 and recently returned for the first time in years. I’m happy to say it hasn’t lost what made it special. The staff are as friendly and welcoming as ever, the atmosphere is warm and lively, and the food is excellent with plenty of great options. It’s rare to revisit a place after so long and find it’s still every bit as good as you remembered. For me, The Fountainhead remains the best pub in Vancouver, and I’ll be sure not to leave it so long before my next visit.

service is very bad, waiter was very arrogant

I am very hard of hearing only about 50% I was standing trying to get to my table when one of their staff who I guess asked to get by kicked my in the back of my leg to get passed me. I told him that wasn’t appropriate and he just said “yeah sorry” and walked away. Never been kicked by a server before.

Hands down Luke is just the best server - great attentive service that never gets a beat wrong! Always spot on and professional with a lovely sense of humour, I know I'm in good hands. Thank you!

Came in for a quick drink with my friend who’s visiting and we had Torey as a bartender and he was absolutely lovely!! Super accommodating and very helpful with the menu! Super nice and a fun personality!

Wonderful atmosphere for drinks with friends and is tabletop games friendly. Have had a grest time there catching up over bith.
