First time in Whistler but already looking forward to booking next year’s Spring Break at the Four Seasons again! We’ve heard this property described as a “Four Seasons Light”, but it certainly exceeded our expectations. Seamless, yet transparent service. 1. Arrival & First Impression • Ease of Access: Arrival was seamless. Greeted at the Porte cochere by the robust team and quickly settled with the family in the lounge spaces directly adjacent to the check-in desks. • Check-In Speed: Seamless! • Initial Welcome: Staff was amazing and went our of their way to ensure we were taken care of. Immediately checked in, and in our room within minutes. 2. The Room Experience • Sleep Quality: Beds, Linens, Pillows all were outstanding. • Cleanliness/Service: This was the only issue with the property. We left the room every morning at around 7:30-8am for breakfast + full day of Skiing. On four out of the five days our room was not cleaned upon returning at 5pm. On one occasion, the staff knocked on our door to “clean” at 8pm. Additionally, the Toilet Room had some unsightly stains on the walls that should not have been there. We did alert the property and thankfully, David Merissink – Assistant Director Rooms reached out, Apologized and offered a solution if we chose to re-book in the future – Again seamlessly as one would expect from a Four Seasons. 3. Property Amenities • Utility: Though not Skii in Skii out, the property offers amazing amenities and services that we certainly used. The Transport to/from the Skii Concierge to Slopes, House Car to/from dining, it’s all up to Four Seasons Standards. • Food & Beverage: Breakfast, Dinner and Room service were all amazing. • Connectivity: Wi-Fi service was robust everywhere within the resort. 4. Service & Hospitality • Staff Attitude: Everyone on the staff was five stars and carry the Four Seasons brand through and through. Again, only issue was with the room staff (see above). • The "Extra Mile": The Skii Valet team was the highlight! Their one on one attention in the AM and PM was a big highlight! • Overall Value: Certainly getting value for CAD$! Design: 5/5 | Comfort: 5/5 | Service: 4/5 |Amenities: 5/5 Recommend: Yes Revisit: Yes

Lots of shuttles available to take you anywhere.
I was considering booking a stay at the Four Seasons Resort Whistler, but after reviewing the booking details on their website, I decided to look elsewhere. I noticed the following disclosure: “A Resort fee of CAD 65 (plus applicable taxes) will be applied to all reservations. This fee is in addition to the room rate per night. This fee includes seasonal Resort experiences such as fitness classes, use of electric bicycles and selected on-property amenities.” This is nothing more than a mandatory cash grab disguised as a benefit. If certain amenities are part of the Four Seasons experience, they should be included in the advertised room rate. Guests should not be presented with an attractive nightly rate only to discover an additional mandatory fee added at checkout. Luxury hospitality is built on transparency and trust. Adding a compulsory resort fee for amenities that many guests may never use feels like a way to artificially increase the price of a stay while making the advertised room rate appear lower than the true cost. The Four Seasons brand represents luxury and exceptional service, but hidden or unavoidable fees are the opposite of a premium guest experience. A truly five-star resort should provide clear, upfront pricing and let guests decide what services they want to purchase. Because of this unnecessary fee, I chose not to book my stay at Four Seasons Whistler. Luxury should mean value, transparency, and respect for the guest—not surprise charges.
A wonderful stay at the Four Seasons for 5 days. Situated near the mountain and just outside of the village, this is the perfect place to visit Whistler. The service could not have more friendly and efficient. The food was very good for breakfast lunch and dinner. Every day they had a wine tasting. The gym is nice. The spa is small. My friends enjoyed the messages (but the facials were panned by two of the women in our group). I will definitely plan on spending another week at the hotel as it exceeded every expectation. As you can see my group really enjoyed the stay. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay great.
