Mariaggi's Theme Suite Hotel

I been here twice and both rooms respectacular. At one point our ceiling was leaking from the hot tub above us and we had to leave while they did maintenance so that part kind of sucked cuz it was freezing cold out we didn't get anything complimentary having to leave a room but they took care of the leak. I enjoyed it a lot and I am willing to go back with a friend just for the steam showers and hot tub

I booked the Egyptian room weeks ago with the manager for a Saturday so my parents could enjoy their 40th anniversary. When they arrived, we found out they booked for Sunday instead. I paid $736 (including the $50 parking package), so they offered the following compensation: the Rome room (roughly $481 with tax and parking package), complementary wine which both white and red were provided that night, an extended check out till 1pm and the "best" free breakfast at 10am. They didnt receive any food by 10:20am so they called front desk to find out no arrangement was made. The front desk tried to reach the manager, but of course no luck. She did help order some food, but it did not arrive until 12pm, and was just basic breakfast ordered through uber. They described the breakfast as "OK". I felt terrible, I recommended this place since my experience there was good last time (aside from their dinner meal) . I felt scammed. I spoke to the manager who made promises, but fell short on delivery. The rooms are amazing, but it would've been nice to get the room that was paid for. No refunds offered. If you book a room here, make sure they give you something in writing for your reservation.

This hotel and the lovely themed room provided the getaway vacation (in town staycation) my wife and I needed. Double jetted hot tub, sauna, games, big screen TV by the bed. Perfect for some time away without leaving the city. Will come again for a longer stay in the future.

Staff are very welcoming and great all around would definitely recommend you vist there sometime.

An experience like no other.. met my boyfriend at the time through a mutual friend.. who is now my fiance.. Good vibes, awesome staff,& comfy rooms.. highly recommend!

My partner and I stayed in the Vegas room for a valentines get away and it was truly amazing. The staff are friendly and very helpful.

I waited to write this review because I was so upset and figured I should try and let it go. I pre-booked a room months in advance was "upgraded" to a room I didn't want. The room we were upgraded to was falling apart. Our receptionist was wearing a stained grey tee-shirt, no shoes, and thread bare socks that I could see his feet through. We brought up the concerns about the room (shower door hanging off the hinges, holes in the wall, plywood window ornaments falling over the toilet) and he was irritable to say the least. He called us ungrateful for the upgrade and manically tried fixing everything- being obnoxiously defensive suggesting that nothing was broken. ( He "fixed" the shower door and as soon as he left it fell off the hinges without any help other than gravity). We are not confrontational people. We had said we were not happy and didn't want to pay premium price for a room we didn't book, and that the shower still needed fixing. He refused to refund us, and offered to have the room re ordered ready for us, that it would take 2 hours. We agreed. We came back 5 hours later and the room was still not prepared. We got into the room at 10:45pm. Checkout was still for the normal time. I would never come here again. I was disgusted with the service. I have worked hospitality and retail over 20 years- and I understand bad days, but we were treated horribly. I also wouldn't doubt they had pervert cameras in the rooms. I have pictures of the room- it was in a disorray.

Where can I start. Honestly the room itself at first glance was so cool looking. After spending 15 hours in it that is when the wheels started to fall off or the Cuba room. First thing was the dirty everything. From the bathroom sink to the long hair left in the jet tub from the previous occupancy. Stains on throw pillows. Hardly vacuumed. Pretty gross when you consider your spending 700 ish after tax for this room. As for the selling features of hot tub in the room and sauna the hot tub jets had hardly enough pressure to mix the bubble bath you purchase for 25 $ extra which is simply generic bubble bath poured into a flower vase on your hot tub ledge. Further inspection indicates mouse traps with poop around them in hidden corners. The shared deck access has a moody leather couch that is constantly dripped on you. If you move too far away from it the platform creeks and groans. Door windows to the deck have paper taped on them for privacy. In conclusion the room is very cool, but the whole place has been left to the ravages of time a little long. And cleaning staff must pay more attn to the fact this room is 575 plus tax for one night. You expect things to be clean and things to work as they should. Personally I wouldnt go back.

I stayed in the China room and it was beyond amazing. The room was beautiful and the staff made you feel cared about and comfortable. Laurie goes above and beyond to make your stay as wonderful as possible. The history in the hotel is so interesting. This is far from some corporate theme roomed hotel. Words can’t even describe how wonderful it is and the pictures on the website don’t do the rooms justice. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a getaway. I will definitely be returning for another stay. A special thanks to Laurie for the tour!

Stayed in the Egypt theme room and had an amazing time.

Great place. We went to Mexico and Las Vegas. We never want to leave (but we have to go back home to the kids). Go to mariaggis if you need a vacation getaway!!!
