We stayed at this hotel at the end of June 2026, and overall, we had a great experience. First, for anyone wondering about the sargassum situation: there was very little on the beach itself. There was some seaweed in the water, but there were still plenty of areas where you could comfortably dip in the ocean. The beach was absolutely beautiful, with soft white sand and stunning turquoise water. This is definitely a sex-positive resort. The entire atmosphere encourages guests to relax, have fun, enjoy themselves, and “play,” as the resort likes to call it. According to many LGBTQ+ travel blogs, the resort is very popular with the LGBTQ+ community. However, during our stay, there were only a very little handful of LGBTQ+ guests. While the environment felt open-minded and judgment-free, we didn’t find the resort particularly inclusive in its activities, marketing, or some of its services. We never felt unwelcome, but we did feel somewhat overlooked. The food was excellent throughout the resort. The breakfast by the water at the seafood restaurant was incredible—don’t miss the French toast (“pain doré”), it was one of the highlights of our trip. Even the sushi exceeded our expectations. The coffee shop was also fantastic and even offered almond milk, which was a nice touch. Room service deserves special mention. The selection was extensive, and ordering directly through the TV was convenient and easy. The entertainment team was outstanding. The staff were energetic, engaging, and incredibly attractive—let’s just say the resort clearly puts effort into maintaining its playful image! The pools were beautiful, especially the rooftop Sky Pool, which offered amazing views and a great atmosphere. * They have a quieter pool with no music too. The drinks were well made, although we often requested half the alcohol because the standard pours were surprisingly strong. One thing that really stood out was the abundance of complimentary bottled water. I’ve never stayed at a resort that was so generous with water. Housekeeping was also excellent—friendly, attentive, and efficient. Oh and don’t worry about the loudness it’s not that bad. The design of the hotel is unlike anything I’ve seen before. It blends retro, Art Deco, and futuristic styles into something truly unique. There is even an adult boutique located inside the resort, which definitely adds to the overall vibe. The themed parties were a lot of fun, and the gym was well-equipped and impressive. The spa looked beautiful, but the pricing was difficult to justify. Charging around $200 CAD for a 30-minute treatment felt excessive. During our stay, the spa was consistently quiet, which wasn’t surprising given the prices. More reasonable pricing would likely attract many more guests. Overall, this is a fantastic resort with great food, beautiful facilities, excellent service, and a truly unique atmosphere. My only suggestion would be to improve inclusivity and representation for all communities. If you’re a straight couple or a single traveler looking for a fun, playful, adults-only experience, you’ll probably absolutely love this place.

The Bottom Line: If you are strictly looking for an uninhibited, "adults-only party vibe," Temptation delivers. If you expect true luxury, seamless service, or a relaxing beach vacation, look elsewhere. The "Dealbreakers" (Service & Room Issues) The Check-In Disaster: A one-hour wait followed by being assigned a room with literally no furniture is an unacceptable baseline for a resort claiming luxury status. The Downgrade: After waiting hours and battling with Expedia, being placed in a partial ocean view room when you paid for a full ocean view is a bait-and-switch. The "Concierge" Trap: Renaming high-pressure timeshare salespeople as "concierges" is a predatory tactic. Forcing a 2.5-hour pitch by plying you with shots, only to turn cold and rude when you say no, ruins the hospitality experience. The Expedia Letdown: It is incredibly frustrating that Expedia wouldn't support a transfer when the hotel literally failed to provide a functional, furnished room. The Resort & Amenities The Beach (or lack thereof): The marketing pictures are misleading. The actual beach footprint is tiny/nonexistent. The Pool (The Saving Grace): Large, lively, and genuinely fun. This is where the resort actually matches its party reputation. Service here was decent but not standout. 🍽️ Food & The "All-Inclusive" Illusion Nickeled and Dimed: True luxury all-inclusives include premium liquor and decent wine. Being restricted to bottom-shelf well liquor and facing constant upcharges for basic upgrades completely kills the "all-inclusive" value proposition. The Food: Mediocre, Americanized, and uninspired. For someone who travels often, the constant hustling and peddling make it impossible to actually relax.

So I’ve been to temptations about 6 times. The last 4 being in the last weeks. We are premier members, which means we spent 20k on “perks” like 40% cash back to use at the spa and gift shop or extra food, etc. this last visit, we bought a sexy toy at legitimately a 1000% mark up. It didn’t work. Since we didn’t use it and are leaving now, they refused to allow us to use that resort “monopoly” money on something else like a massage. Out stay was a whole week. In the whole week, we only had housekeeping come in once. The one thing I asked for was bathrobes since they someone had disappeared and of course expected the mini fridge to be restocked. It was not. Again, I only had them come in to clean and restock once in 7 days. To top it all off, we unfortunately burned the patio table very slightly and are being charged about $350 dollars for a $1 repair for a table that costs about $300 brand new. While we have fun here and the staff for the most part is great, be careful with everything you buy or use because at the end of the day everything is a racket. Thinking of selling my premier membership.
