Nomada Beach Hostel

Absolutely one of the best experiences of my life. Everyone is so friendly, chill, and kind! The place is clean, pool was great, and only a few minutes from the airport and beach.

Last minute decision, and had a Great experience.. Thank you easy to navigate, close and convenient for just about anything. Lyft ride was like 10 dollars anywhere you want to go...

Clean room, clean kitchen. Friendly staff. 1 block from the beach. 1 block from an amazing bakery. Our room was adjacent to the pool area with speakers blasting music but they adhered to quiet hours and offered to turn down the speakers as soon as we checked in. Check in / check out was easy. Street parking was abundant and safe.

Stayed only for a few hours. Amazing vibe. Comfy. Attracted such cool people too. Service was extremely accommodating.

TERRIBLE

The staff is very helpful and nice, the facilities are kept clean and pretty nice with a cute beachy vibe. I love that they give lockers (at the end of the room) and have curtains for privacy around the beds. Location is great for the airport, and a few minute walk to the nearby beach.

I never leave reviews but this hostel blew me away so I feel like I have to! It’s so cute and centrally located - like 8 mins away from the airport. Our flight got delayed so we were looking for somewhere to spend the day and stumbled across this spot. It had a pool and the accommodations were so clean and convenient + 3 showers connecting to the dorms. Very homey and service was impeccable. The absolute best guy was working the desk and I wish literally the best for him because I’m sure we were all cranky and tired. SO much better than our airbnb! Would’ve 1000% stayed here if I’d found it earlier.

Do yourself a favor DO NOT STAY HERE!! They accept reservations knowing that they dont have rooms available and on top of that they won't give you the refund. I'm currently working on a dispute on the charge. I'm from the island believe me when I said to avoid this place.

Had an awesome stay. Met solo travelers from across the world and connection was easy . Stayed in a female dorm with 4 other ladies who became friends . Hostel has an optional WhatsApp group to plan activities together . The hostel exceeded my expectations in cleanliness . The bed was comfy , towels were clean. Showers, bathroom tidy . And definitely great location . Highly recommend

Disappointing Stay – Serious Issues with Safety, Cleanliness, Staff Behavior, and Refund Policy I booked this hostel for a full two-week surfing holiday based on its appealing online photos and description. Unfortunately, my experience was far from what was advertised, and I ended up leaving early. On the first night, I was bitten multiple times by a large insect in the room, resulting in painful, large welts that lasted for days. This raised immediate concerns about cleanliness and pest control. The following evening, upon returning to the hostel, I encountered a prostitute openly waiting in the common area. Additionally, I had an uncomfortable experience with a roommate who was persistently disrespectful and ignored my requests for privacy. Most of the staff were noticeably rude and unprofessional. The entire place felt really creepy and weird, with consistently off-putting vibes from some guests and staff. These incidents made me feel increasingly unsafe and unwelcome. My main reason for booking here was surfing, but I quickly learned that the nearby beach is only suitable for beginners/children. Proper waves require traveling to the west side of the island. After just a couple of days, I requested a partial refund for the remaining ~12 nights (approximately $600 prepaid) so I could relocate. The staff promised the manager/owner would get back to me, so I waited half a day—only to receive no response at all. By that point, I no longer cared about the money; my only priority was getting out of there as quickly as possible. Overall, this was a highly disappointing and stressful experience. I strongly advise potential guests—especially solo travelers or those prioritizing safety and basic professionalism—to look elsewhere.
