As someone who spends well over 200 nights a year in hotels around the world, I rarely leave public reviews. When I do, it’s because I genuinely believe other travelers should know what to expect. I am extremely disappointed with this property and, quite frankly, find it difficult to understand how it carries the Hilton name. The only reason I chose to stay here was the attractive room rate. Unfortunately, I regret that decision and will be returning to my usual Marriott property on the island for future visits. The issue isn’t the quality of the room—it’s a policy that is, in my opinion, one of the most unreasonable I’ve encountered in years of business travel. As a Hilton Gold member, continental breakfast is included. By mistake, I also booked a rate that included breakfast. During breakfast, I opted for the American breakfast, which is listed on the menu at $25 USD, while the included continental breakfast is listed at $20 USD. In virtually every major hotel chain I’ve stayed with, the solution is simple: you pay the $5 difference for the upgraded breakfast. Not here. Instead, I was charged the full $25 per person, effectively paying again for the coffee, juice, fruit, and other continental items that were already included in my benefit. The result was a breakfast bill of $68 USD for two people. This isn’t about the money. I have an unlimited corporate travel expense account, so the amount itself is completely irrelevant. It’s about the principle and the customer experience. Policies like this make loyal guests feel that the objective is to maximize charges rather than build long-term relationships. What makes the experience even more disappointing is the lack of any meaningful avenue for escalation. With Marriott, Platinum and Titanium members have concierge and dedicated elite support channels that can often resolve situations like this quickly. I found no comparable support during my stay. I hope Hilton and the property’s management take reviews like this seriously. There is a reason this hotel is competing primarily on price while other hotels on the island command higher rates and stronger guest loyalty. Experiences like this are exactly why. This will be my last stay at this property, and I cannot recommend it to fellow Hilton elite members who expect the level of service and common sense typically associated with the brand.
Now guys, please! Look at the photos, they're very honest about the beach and location so you'll know what you're signing up for. We did and it's exactly what we wanted, somewhere quiet and away from all the noise yet not too far where I can't easily drive to. The desk team and everyone were super friendly, shout out to Kimberly at the desk and our housekeeper! If I return to SKN, I'd definitely return to Koi Resort. P.s. they offer shuttles to beaches and rooms offer such a beautiful view of the Atlantic 👌🏾
This resort is a 10/10 room is extra clean! This is the only hotel with updated rooms so if you want good rooms and service then please stay here! It’s about ten mins from the strip which isn’t so bad! Staff was also amazing! Restaurant food was amazing
Wonderful service for dinner and cocktails July 23 and July 24. Edris was a lovely server and courteous, knowledgeable and friendly. We will ask for Edris in future stays.
