We had an incredible stay! From the moment we arrived, the customer service was exceptional. Every time we needed something, it was taken care of quickly and with such kindness. The property itself is absolutely beautiful. We loved seeing the chickens and goats. It gave the whole experience such a peaceful, charming atmosphere. Everyone we met who worked there was friendly, professional, and genuinely cared about making our stay memorable. They gave us great recommendations on places to visit, restaurants, and things to do in the area, which made our trip even better. One of our favorite parts was learning about the history of the house. You can tell so much love and care has gone into preserving it, and hearing its story made our stay feel even more special. If you're looking for a unique, relaxing place with amazing hospitality, this is your place. We would absolutely stay here again!
Not good. Very impersonal. Codes to get in. No in person contact. Website says breakfast is from 8-10 . I get a text at 8:15 saying breakfast is at 9:30..That's BS. I have places to go and things to see. Not spending half my day waiting on breakfast . No freshly brewed coffee. We had to leave to go get breakfast and fresh coffee at a decent hour so we could be on the road by 9:45. Keurig's everywhere which fine for as a self serve option for various times. You are a bed and breakfast. Breakfast should start at 8 and there should freshly brewed coffee in the morning that are assessable to the guests. AND you communicate through text . Ok fine. But when we text back , no response. It's a 1 sided communication system . No phone # was provided so we could ask for toilet paper when we ran out. It was like a ghost town. It was weird. It's more like an Air B&B. The house itself is beautiful. Flowers are gorgeous.Property not very well maintained. Grass needed to be cut. Weeds out of control. Has the potential be something great. If you representing yourself to be a bed & breakfast, some changes need to be made to make it more warm and welcoming. Otherwise you need to advertise and promote yourself as an Air B&B so the message is crystal clear about what you are providing. I have been to a bed & breakfast, you did not meet the expectation. Not even close.
An excellent bed and breakfast !!! The home is well maintained !!! During our stay Joe was my go to staff. He helped with my luggage, cook breakfast, folded laundry. He is also a handyman, fixing any issues that may come up. And by the way he feeds the chickens and the goats and watered the flowers/plants too. It is a self check in B&B, we were a little hesitant at first, but as you can see Joe made us feel right at home 🏡 ***He did not pay me for this review *** 🇺🇲👍👍🇺🇲😁😁🇺🇲👍👍👍🇺🇲👍👍😁🇺🇲
We had a wonderful wedding weekend at the Engadine. The views are beautiful, the rooms and cabine provided great place for friends and family to stay, and the staff was super helpful. Breakfast in the main house was hearty.
I rented a cabin for 10 days for my niece who was visiting from Germany. She and her partner loved the cabin. It had ample access and parking, was private, had a nice porch to sit on, hammock, and nice kitchen/bathroom/sitting area. Engadine staff was always friendly and helpful throughout the stay. It is a good location right off of I-40 and not far from Asheville, Waynesville, Blue Ridge Parkway and Smokies. If you stay in one of their cabins, you will invariably tell your friends about how nice the cabin stay was, so do it!
