I've been a patron of Woofs for over 20 years. It's been a staple of mine through both locations and many faces behind the bar. 2 of the "lifers" who are dear personal friends of mine, Dan and John, make going to Woofs something I look forward to every single time. Ms Ashley puts out amazing food (not just "bar food") that makes mouths water and tummys rumble. I've introduced MANY friends and family members to Woofs over the years and they always rave and then return with or without me. Oh, they have every sport imaginable on one of a billion TV's too!

Nice bar and environment! Parking is limited so taking Uber or the Beltline is preferred.

I just had the worst welcome to this bar that I have ever had. I come to this establishment often and know a lot of the employees. I sat at the bar thinking I was sitting in Roy’s section and then realized I was sitting a the manager Steve’s section. He walked over basically through the menu on the bar and ask what I wanted to drink. I ordered a shot of Tequila and a dirty Martini. When I ordered the duty martini I told him which vodka and he asked what my tequila preferences was and I didn’t here him so I repeated my vodka preferences and then he yelled at me and said “what is your tequila preference” I said I didn’t have one. Then he made my drinks acting like he was put out to do his job!! He brought my drinks to me and I asked can I go ahead and order my food he said mad as a hornet “ I need a card from you first” I was thinking in my head I don’t mind to give a card, which I am never asked by any other employees for a card because I come here often and have never walked out or had any trouble paying my tab. In the meantime two other customers sat beside me when he came back to take my food order I ordered and notices I didn’t have a lime for my shot. I asked if he could give me a lime and he said can you wait a minute! I guess he saw the look on my face then he proceeded to flip the fruit container open and slammed the lime in my hand and slammed the container shut then went to the other two customers beside me and apologized to the about the wait like me asking for a lime was causing them to wait, which he should have asked me if I would like salt and lime when I ordered!!! This manager is going to be the death of this bar. He is so rude for no reason! Y’all need to get your boy and get him under control!! Now I am going to ask for a box to put my food in and go home and eat if because I don’t feel welcomed at all.

The atmosphere and service were spectacular!!! I’ve eaten the best Cuban sandwiches when I lived in South Florida; if your in ATL and looking for the best Cuban sandwich- head to Woof’s.
