Join us for a crucial evening of community dialogue, advocacy, and civic action at Cheer Up Charlie’s. The Civic Town Hall brings grassroots organizers, community members, and city leadership together under our theme, Viva La Resistencia.
Hosted by the team behind the Messy Thoughts podcast, this live recording features special guest District 3 Council Member José Velásquez. We’ll be addressing real-world issues impacting our community, including preserving East Austin’s cultural spaces, the rising costs of public municipal events, and our advocacy for a city park fee waiver for Fiesta Gardens.
