What a place! If you’ve been to the food truck you know the food is good. However, they have absolutely perfected their cheese curds. Not to mention the cheese steak 🤤 The portions are generous which is very much appreciated in this economy. The flavors? Bold. Full. The chicken beast? Gah-dayyyyyummmmm. If you’re considering the jallab? The sweet tea? GET IT. The cinnamon in the tea is such a nice touch. Also, what’s your dream? Leave it on their DREEAM WALL! The atmosphere is welcoming, the smell of the food is enticing and your stomach? Will be full and happy by the time you walk out. Thank you for getting a storefront! Cannot wait to be back.

5/5 – Unbelievable flavor! Best Shawarma Bowl in Maine! We first met the wonderful team behind Dreamer Food at a hiring event at the Bangor CareerCenter, and they could not have been nicer! We had to check out their food, and their Shawarma Bowl did not disappoint—every single component was spot on. The Food: The cilantro rice makes a great base, and the chicken is tender and packed with spice. The combination of creamy hummus, crisp Mediterranean salad, and tangy Lebanese pickles gives you the perfect bite every time. The Standout: The toum (garlic sauce) is absolute perfection—so fresh and flavorful! The Experience: Truly some of the kindest, most welcoming people running a business in town, with food to match. Fresh, authentic, and delicious—I will definitely be craving this again soon!

Great food! Menu board on the wall was somewhat misleading as to sides which accompany some meals. I hope to return soon!

Stopped by while visiting Maine and roadtripping around. The food and service was top notch! Loved the Lebanese tea, twisted chicken sandwich and desserts.

A unique and exciting experience in little old Bangor is always welcome. After trying Dreamer in their food truck we knew we had to come back. The brick and mortar restaurant is compact but friendly but you don't come here for the seats, the food is where it's at. Brilliantly seasoned and cooked to perfection we had the steak shawarma sandwich and falafel bowl. With large portions, desserts, and Lebanese sodas Dreamer Food is worth a visit if you're in town and looking to try something new and exciting
