Dani’s Queer Bar

It's too small for the amount of people they try to fit in, and it's not as fun as Club Café. CC has a more inclusive atmosphere and they are welcoming to people of all sexual orientations.
We love Dani’s! We make sure to stop every time we are in town. Be sure to get Mozzarella sticks and Yucca fries.
We visited here 6/5, 6/6, and 6/7. It's a nice bar but definitely beware of how things are run during event weekends. Service was subpar and the bathrooms were dirty. On 6/6, we waited in the rain for over an hour (totally fine since it was Pride) but a group that showed up in a ride share were somehow let in way before us. On 6/7 at 9:30p, the bartender was rude from the moment we walked in. First, he snatched IDs from our group of four and a couple that came in around the same time as us. We were understanding that he was the only bartender but he was unnecessarily rude without us even having any actual interaction with him. We ordered three old fashioneds and nachos. The nachos were made fairly fast but the bartender continued to walk past them. When he finally grabbed them he tossed them on to the counter behind the bar and threw the receipt with an attitude. He avoided bringing the nachos for an unknown reason. During this time, the girl next to us left because he was also ignoring her order. We ended up closing out our drink tab and taking the already made nachos off since they were never given. We would have ordered more drinks and tipped more, but the battender was rude. We won't be back during an event weekend.
listen. i love this lesbian bar. but during pride you can't even have the bar fully staffed during a drag brunch? the owners friends were sat at a table and were noticeably getting far better service than at least 4-5 different groups. we didn't even get to order like normal, my girlfriend had to flag down the one other bartender to order our food....the people next to us are getting the food before we even ordered and then we didn't get our food until both queens were packed up and long gone. we sat down at 1:45 and didnt eat until after 3:30. we then ordered MORE drinks and got forgotten about AGAIN! i want to stress that i love this place and the food is amazing and the shows are also amazing but the owner needs to figure out how to run an establishment. thank you for your time.
So glad to have a sapphic space in Boston. Also, I’m pretty regular and have to say that Lea makes this place. She (they?) is hysterical, kind, and a great bartender.
