A-Lodge Boulder (Boulder Abenteuerlodge)

We LOVE A-lodge. Always our spot to stay when in and around Boulder. Awesome staff, awesome vibes, everything you need.

These days, this is my top spot because it's peaceful and the service is excellent. I also enjoy the creek and the lovely yard where I can play with my dog. I highly recommend it!

My husband and I had an excellent time at A-Lodge. We stayed two nights and we felt extremely immersed in nature the entire time. Quick and easy access up the mountain and into Boulder... Very convenient and close to everything we wanted. We also loved our sauna session (though we thought adding a cold plunge bucket outside would be nice). My only thing is that the walls are VERY thin, and if one of us was in the bathroom, we could hear people next door talking. Just an FYI if you require complete privacy. Overall excellent and we would happily return.

A lovely place to stay in the montains! And they have hostel option for solo traveller which was very welcome. The place is by the road in the mountains and very quiet in the night. The hostel rooms themselves were cozy and spacious, with plenty of storage, and good bathroom - to - bed ratio. The bunk beds were very sturdy and comfy. The one con I can think of is that for the hostel part of the lodge, the shared public space for lounging was pretty limited (there were 1 desk and 1 crash pad couch and that was about it). The lodge lobby was pretty nice but not opened 24hrs. Still, a wonder place for solo road tripper and would recommend.

Ideal for a rest from the city, lovely location and kind staff. There is a bus going back and forth from boulder downtown about every our and there are some nice hikes starting from the lodge. I stayed in the hostel for 4 nights and i really had a good time, thanks A-lodge!

This is a treasure, away from the calamity of Boulder, but close enough the get in town quickly. Not for you if you demand perfection, but it’s ideal for me.

I stayed there at the end of March, and I have no complaints, there was a plenty of hot water in the shower. What I love most were the pillows, though it didn't occur to me to check the brand. Is there any way to find out what brand they are?

Stayed here for 6 days in April, the room was clean and as described, although we paid for the Adventure Queen which advertised a Mountain View, which we didn't see much of, either way the water pressure and temperature was great, the bed was comfortable, there was a smart TV, and we kept the windows open for natural sounds which was nice. They were doing renovations on the room next to ours for 2 days of our stay which was unexpected but A-lodge offered to switch our rooms and compensate us with free drinks :) We adore the location and the community it attracts, very friendly locals and staff, it's just enough into the mountains for beautiful scenery and only 10 minute drive from the city! We did not receive any housekeeping (to our knowledge) so our trash piled up quickly but we didn't mind, though we wish someone came to vacuum the carpets, if you stay longer it may become an issue. I would recommend this place to anybody, take advantage of the location and amenities they offer!

Great little lodge tucked in the mountain pass. The road in can be narrow for larger vehicle. The experience at Adventure lodge was great, we had our dog with us and she was very welcome. There is live music around the fire pit and patio. There's a slack line park, hot tub, sauna and lots to do right around the lodge. I recommend this place and its very dog friendly. Definitely will be coming back

My stay at A-Lodge was great. I was there for a month. There's a nice community there with people that live in the vicinity. I highly recommend a trip there. Dog friendly and great amenities.

Really neat place, met some cool people in the hostel and enjoyed just walking around the property. Also really convenient location for snowboarding at Eldora.
