Camerata Buffalo Celebrates our Nation’s Semiquincentennial

We celebrate the unique voices of the American Scene with Aaron Copeland’s Hoe Down, To a Wild Rose by Edward MacDowell, Romance for Violin by Amy Beach, a Lullaby for Strings by George Gershwin, and Ruth CrawfordSeeger’s Andante for Strings.
After intermission, we continue with George Walker’s Lyric for Strings, Leonard Bernstein’s Danzon from Fancy Free, John Corigliano’s Voyage for String Orchestra by John Corigliano, and Strum by Jessie Montgomery.
