Marigold

Tonight with Sam at Marigold was amazing. The food was amazing! We got the pesto pasta, oysters Rockefeller, bavata vida, the porterhouse, and the butter chicken curry. Every single thing we shared was amazing. Our steak was perfect. Sam made us feel like we were old friends. She knew everything that we asked, she bantered with us, and made us feel completely welcome! If you stop in, for sure request her and your night will be made!

Here for a work trip staying at the Hilton. The food I’ve had the last few days has been MID at best so I was hoping it could be redeemed my last night here. I’m spoiled living in Philly which is such an incredible food scene. All that to say marigold DELIVERED. This is high quality food my goodness. I had the beef tartare (served on bone marrow) and the bangers and mash (omg so goood) and of course a dirty martini. If you’re traveling and don’t know where to eat, look no further. I ate at all the places you don’t want to eat at. Now you can enjoy this amazing food at Marigold!

The menu is unique and full of flavors! Our table of 4 was able to order and share multiple dishes which made for a fun experience for the entire group. The blend of Indian inspired spices with more traditional English food items was a wonderful combination. We celebrated my birthday and they made sure it was special. Every member of the staff was attentive and helpful. The atmosphere of the dining room is beautiful! We had a great time and will absolutely be returning to try additional items that we missed our first time.

We enjoyed our first time at Marigold. I thought the Batada vada was a delicious bite and the chili sauce paired nicely with it. My partner ordered the roasted chicken and said it was good and flavorful. I ordered the butter chicken and thought it was flavorful but the chicken had an odd taste and slight harder texture than I prefer, the cucumber tomato salad was okay I didn’t enjoy the sweet vinaigrette that came with it though. Service was awesome and they brought everything out in a timely manner.

Have never had a bad experience here. Food is great and service is top notch. Austin took great care of us. Highly recommend checking this place out

The staff here is always amazing. The food is on point and every drink is carefully crafted. The attention to detail is amazing and it shows in everything including the atmosphere.

Go here! One of the best meals I’ve ever had! We loved the cucumber, gin, and tonic with mint, sourdough bread, broccoli salad and the tenderloin and chips.

Enough great things can’t be said about this place. The staff are incredible, the food is delicious. Every dish was fantastic, had depth, full of flavor. Each time we have left this restaurant, we find ourselves also talking about what we can’t wait to try next time we visit. This is the place you are looking for. This is the place that genuinely cares, and connects with their guests. Also many thanks to Chef, Devin, and Samantha for the Lobster Pie. We can’t wait to come back!

Dined here for the first time and was very pleased with the service. Our bartender was great and gave us some insight into the menu without wasting a lot of time. The food was delicious and the portions were pretty big compared to other places that offer a higher-end dining experience. It’s a pretty laid back vibe while also feeling quite trendy. We will definitely try this place again as there were several items on the menu that sounded great.

Update- still love it. New menu. Mushroom samosa is a HOME RUN. Loved the broccoli salad- every salad is so good and so fresh, can’t go wrong. Roasted chicken is just delicious. We had an amazing dinner at Marigold! It’s a beautiful mashup of British and Indian inspired food by the brilliant Crown Republic restaurant group. We started with the happy hour, which surprisingly had some very affordable items. We went with the Pimm’s Cup and the GingerBrew for drinks and the Batata Vada for our appetizer. The Batata Vada was an onion encrusted fritter with Yukon potato filling. It was delicious- we did add a touch of salt. For our mains, we ordered the Shepherd’s Pie with beef and the Short Rib Vindaloo. Great combination. We added some delicious sourdough naan. The presentation of both dishes were very good and both were FULL of flavor. Felt like perfect comfort food, flavored and presented to perfection. We loved the modern ambience, the service was excellent, friendly and attentive without being intrusive. And the food delicious. We will definitely be back!
