BARDA offers indoor and outdoor seating. The atmosphere is welcoming and upbeat. It was the first time for me and my wife so we asked our server for suggestions. The food was amazing and so was the service. Our bartender, Jacob, was super friendly and he made great martinis. We will be back!

The food was good but needs some rebalance of ingredients in my opinion. Some plates have too much going on, others not enough. Outdoor seating needs some upgrades, and not cool that you can't reserve indoor seating at all apparently? After I left and paid the bill, I realized the price wasn't worth the overall experience.

I have a premium credit card that offers rebates for some higher end restaurants and Barda was one of the few on the list. We had 4 drinks, one appetizer, one entree and one side - the bill was $190 before tip. The entree was strip steak recommended by the bartender. It was $68 and came out as 5 slices, not even a full steak. Worse yet after trimming off the fat we were left with a few pieces of edible meat between 2 of us. Thankfully I received a $150 credit from my card - this meal was barely worth $40 honestly. Oh and good luck finding a parking spot as their lot holds 5 cars. Otherwise you’re left parking on the back streets hoping your car is going to be there when you leave.

Food was good. But we were treated like we didn’t belong there. They had eyes on us all night like we were about to rob the place😒 I don’t mind the racism Im use to it just don’t like sitting around that miserable bitter energy. I mean I’d be mad too if I was a white racist waitress serving successful black people, when you’d expect it to be the other way around. Why put a whites only restaurant in a black neighborhood🧐 Next time put a whites only sign up to keep us out.

For a nearly 300$ bill, I expected the mains to be better. The salad and burrata apps were great. The potatoes and carrots were good too. But the gaucho ribs were disappointing and the ny strip was okay. The ribs weren’t very tender and lacked some brighter seasoning whereas the steak was normal but nothing amazing. Given the restaurant is an Argentine steakhouse, I thought the meat would be better. Amazing staff though. We sat outside and it was nice. Inside seemed to have a great vibe.

Here’s the thing, the only reason this review isn’t a 5 is because of the food. The drinks, atmosphere, and staff was incredible. The food on the other hand was just okay. I’d come here for maybe one appetizer and hope it’s good, and then just enjoy some drinks and the atmosphere.
