Great place for a short trip a day there maybe to tops is all you need to have a great time. Current going through a remodel.

Overall the experience was decent for the kids. Water park and lazy river were nice. The check in process was lengthy. Once we got into the room it was very warm. We turned the A/C on, unpacked and hit the pool. Few things noted in the room: toilet was very loose, could wiggle it side to side then the TV wasn't working. Noticed the fridge was not balanced so when you opened the door it would fall off the shelf and your items would tip out. We had maintenance come up to reset the thermostat since we couldn't get the room under 75 degrees. Next morning we woke up to 80 degrees. The arcade, trampoline area and mini golf we visited were great. Just dissatisfied with a few minor things which would have made the experience much better.

Pool hours are only 4-9pm on week days during the Summer. Really doesn't make sense and not worth it. We canceled our trip.

The staff are very friendly and the atmosphere is pleasant; I recommend it.

The worst experience every the beds hard the staff was very unwelcoming the guess was looking at us calling my kids freaks yes worst visit every and will not be back staff needs more training

We booked a room at a discount group rate for a wedding. Upon check in we were informed that the additional costs were for the 'amenities' that they provided. We told them we were not there for the water park and were told the additional cost was for the coffee, wifi, etc. Once in the room, we realized that there were no real 'amenities' provided: no extra towels, no bar soap, shampoo, etc; no coffee maker or ice bucket in the room. And all other hotels that i have stayed in offer free wifi...so not sure why Metropolis has you pay for it. Additionally, the heat register in our room was EXTREMELY loud...like a train in the room. We shared this at check out and although the desk clerk apologized, there was no offer to compensate us - even partially. The room was not decorated at a high end - the drape looked like we had hung a sheet over the window. I do not recommend The Metropolis for anyone to stay at that is not soley there for the water park....and since we paid for but did not do there I can not comment on that 'amenity'.

This place is so fun for kids. There were plenty of activities for everyone. There were lots of families there so this place was busy with all the kids but that’s expected for a place like this!

Our Family of 5 went here for a Sunday Funday and had a great time! The water park was decent and the kids had a lot of fun. The life guards on duty were amazing and super on top of it. They rotated zones and were really attentive, very safe! Wasn't too muggy inside and didn't have the overwhelming smell of chlorine. We did the arcade, trampoline park, obstacle course, and Lazer tag. Then lots of bumper cars and go-kart racing. The kids had a blast! One gripe: when you get the unlimited play arcade card you aren't able to play any of the ticket games. I understand why we wouldn't get tickets but can it please be set up to let us play the ticket games and then just not dispense tickets? There was a lot of machines on the arcade floor that we weren't able to play. Otherwise, good family fun at a reasonable value price. We didn't stay at the hotel.

OMG BETS PLACE SO MUXH FUN

Absolutely recommend!!! 1000 times!!! We just stayed for my sons 12th Birthday. Just did a small thing stayed and played. I asked for a Birthday greeting at our room door and they gave him free stuff. The staff where so kind and vary vary good with the kids! Food was amazing and our room was vary nice. Definitely be coming here again over Wisconsin dells!
