Hi-Ho Hotel

Cute hotel, clean and automated - no desk or concierge, but they get things done! Beds were comfy, rooms clean, and best part is the bar-restaurant attached, called Barcelona with delicious tapas.

Very convenient location, clean rooms, strong showers but check in app could be easier to use.

I like the rooms, location and price. The hotel is cozy and comfortable. The only small issue is that the Television services are complicated.

Easy check in, clean room, comfortable bed, easy check out. What else could you ask for?

Bring water. Ice machine is located in a lounge that is almost always locked. No fridge. No vending machines. If you are inclined to drink tap water the sink is too shallow to fill your water bottle. Bring ear plugs too. Road noise is constant.

Rooms were nicely decorated, very clean and were pleasantly deodorized!!

This place is a hard pass. I would have been better off sleeping in my car. We ate at the not-so-great tapas place and my wife opted to go up to the room while I stayed and finished my drink. I went upstairs (lots of stairs!) and it was pouring rain. I realized I didn’t have the room number so I called the front desk. The first few times no one answered. Finally someone picked up and I told them I had a reservation and needed my room number and the code to enter. “Well sir, that’s going to be a problem because we already provided that information and we cannot do so twice. Really? Why not? The room is booked under my name and credit card. Sorry sir, it’s for security reasons. Who’s security? I’m the “registered guest” for that room. What’s the problem? Someone has already checked into that room and we cannot give out the information a second time. So let me see if I have this straight: it’s after midnight in the pouring rain and my wife is upstairs asleep in OUR room but you cannot tell me which room she’s in? Correct, sir. So what shall I do? Does this happen often I asked? No sir, not really. If you would like I can check if there are any other rooms available in the hotel. NO THANK YOU. Is this a scam?! I should have called the cops. Instead I drove to a different hotel up the street and checked in there for what amounted to about 6 hours since I checked in at 1:30 am. Oh and when I called the following day to complain the ridiculously self important, ignorant, non-customer service oriented ogre of a manager accused me of verbally abusing her staff. (Sorry lady, something tells me I was not the first to complain…..)

A motel at a premium price. The contactless system is a disaster. We arrived late and were given a code for a room that was already occupied. Even after phoning staffs there was a 'Do Not Disturb' sign on the door, he instructed us to try the door anyway. Thankfully, the guest inside had the security latch on. The staff has zero eyes on the property and clearly no idea who is in which room. We then changed to another room with the AC/Heater about to die. Two nights with 40'f outside that this poor machine as loud as a roadside construction machine. We had to wear earplugs to sleep and still struggling. Again. No one is onside to deal with problem because of "Contactless". Perhaps this motel is good for the their drunk guests from downstair restaurant Barcelona but besides its location. You can drive 10 mins farther and get a normal hotel with same price. It's ok clean and good location but really don't recommend at all.

I got sucked in by the neon sign and I was not disappointed. We only stayed the night. Check in was super easy and contactless and the room was clean, comfortable, and modern. A great experience all around.

This hotel is exactly what I expected. Rooms were clean with no frills - I might have liked an extra blanket! My only hiccup was that the check-in software apparently doesn't work well in the dark, and I arrived at night so I had to call a few times to get things sorted. Perfectly located for a conference at Fairfield University.

I was comfortable with the check in (once I figured it out) and the room was clean and nice and the bed was wonderful 👍
